rude as heck. I visited the restaurant in Dublin this morning for Sunday brunch. The perosn at the front was rude as heck. The atmosphere didn't improve during the rest of the visit. We visited the location in Worthington and were pleased. This location was poor. The food was OK, the price was OK, the rest of the experience was very poor. Excellent value if you're looking for a remarkable steak. My wife and I go to J. Alexander's every year on my birthday because it is my favorite place to get a steak in Columbus. It's more expensive than Lonestar or Outback, but you definitely get what you pay for at J. Alexander's. I wish they would bring back the twice-baked sweet potatoes, but in the meantime, it's still my favorite steak in C-Bus!…
10 all the way. My husband & i went here on our wedding night at a friends suggestion. We look forward to going back every year on our anniversary. The food, service, & atmosphere is perfect. I always get the steak maui & it just melts in your mouth. The prime rib is another good choice. They used to have this pork dish about 8 yrs ago that they don't carry anymore. this pork chop was 1-1 1/2 inches thick & cooked to profection. We had never tasted a pork chop like that & probably never will again unless they bring it back. Overall this is the perfect restaurant for just about anything.…

Steak Maui is THE BEST. I've had J. Alexander's prime rib, filet etc... and they are FABULOUS. BUT - the steak maui is to die for! It's slightly sweet and melts in your mouth. From day one that I had it - that's all I order when I go there but everthing on the menu is great and the steak is always grilled to perfection. I wish I was eating steak maui right now!…
Excellent FOOD!. Everything about their food is excellent. I highly recommend the burger medium rare!!!! I asked the chef about their burgers and they hand grind on their beef on premises daily. No worries about ECOLI, order it rare and you won't be dissapointed. I compare it to Thurmans burgers and J's beats them easily!!!!!…
Still talking about it the next day!. I had visited J Alexanders for the first time and I will, without a doubt, dine there again! They have the best service, Steak that melts in your mouth, the portions will have you asking for a to go box! It is well worth the money.…
Fansteakstic!. J Alexander's is fasionable without being trendy, where they always cook your steak right the fist time and where the portions don't leave you wondering what you are paying for.
