I'll start off with something good about this restaurant; the burgers are actually very good. I've eaten at about every burger place in Columbus and I would have to say that they very good for a chain restaurant. It was no Thurman burger but it was still good.

In reality, this restaurant is severely overpriced at a walk away price of approximately $10 a person for what's essentially a classed up fast food restaurant.

Two of the locations I can think of off the top of my head have closed down. The last time I went to a Fuddrucker's, I left without eating because the air conditioning ducts in the ceiling were covered with condensation so severely that they were dripping water into the condiments table (where you get all your lettuce, tomato, onions, etc.). The staff was obviously aware of the problem because of the "Wet Floor" caution sign but did nothing about the food. If they didn't close down because of failing a health inspection, I'm sure it was because they were overpriced.

I can't say I'm sad to see them go.

  • Pros: Slightly above average burger.
  • Cons: Terrible price. Very unclean.

Good burgers, cooked the way you want, with every possible topping available, but $8 for a burger!? Come on...I can make 8 burgers on my grill for that, and their just as good. I might go back if I had some really good coupons, but other than that, Ill stay at home and fire up the grill.

  • Pros: Cooked the way you want, many toppings to choose from
  • Cons: Value, very over-priced.

In Short
Red-shirted, black-bibbed attendants serve grilled burgers made from freshly ground beef, turkey, salmon, and even ostrich sandwiched by buns that are baked in-house daily. Hungry patrons gussy up the meat at a condiment bar stocked with lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos and a variety of sauces, then take a seat at tables topped with a black-and-white checkered tablecloths. Sides of cole slaw, baked beans and wedge-shaped fries complete the picture.

Although I don't like places that take your order then give you one of those flashing coaster alert thingies, it's worth putting up with when you eat at Fudd's. The burgers are delicious - big, juicy, flavorsome - and it's great that you can add whatever toppings you want. I always grab a load of veggies, and have myself a little salad on the side. I love the big chunky fries, and the hot cheesy dipping sauce is yummy. Mmmm, we haven't been in a while. My tummy just started grumbling...

  • Pros: Super burgers, Parking/location, Value
  • Cons: Sometimes noisy

Go for the one pound burger, cooked the way you like it! Make sure they do one big patty, not 2 1/2 lb. ones. There is a difference! Load it up at there always fresh veggy and condiment bar and enjoy. Listen to oldies and don't forget the quarters so the kids can play the video games while you wait for the meal!

  • Pros: Massive burger , family friendly, oldies
  • Cons: line often slow

Don't forget kids, use a condiment! There are plenty to choose from! May I suggest a 2/3 lb. Ostrich burger? I know it sounds a little weird, but it's the best meat for you (better than turkey, and leaner) and you can't beat the taste!
