This is a great restaraunt to bring a date, it's romantic and has great atmosphere. The food is very good and I enjoy the relaxed feel. The last time I ate there it was my girlfriends 21st birthday and when we were ordering wine the waiter was nice and wished her happy birthday. After dinner they brought out 2 butterscotch shots, one with a strawberry and a candle on it. All without us asking for this! Excellent service, I would recommend going!

Pros: good food service and romantic

Cons: none!

We just got back from dinner and had to give the experience 2 thumbs up! The outdoor atmosphere was very romantic with charming music in the background. Our service (by Jon) was superb. He was very knowledgable of the menu and helpful in giving reccomendations. We loved the crab cakes! Ask for Jon!

We live fairly close to the restaurant and go as often as we can. I've recommended this restaurant to many friends who have all been equally impressed. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu (although there are certain dishes I can't get away from because they're so delicious). The staff is always so friendly, and we leave full and happy! In the summer, the patio is a wonderful place to dine. It's located right on Grandview Ave., which is a great place to people watch. After dinner you can take a stroll down the avenue and go see a movie at the Drexel!

Pros: Cozy, romantic admosphere; excellent food; friendly service; great location

Cons: Wish it was cheaper so we could go every day

I RECENTLY VISITED ON THURSDAY NIGHT AND I HAD WONDERFUL FOOD AND SERVICE. THE STAFF AT THE TRATTORIA ROMA WERE TOP NOTCH! THANK YOU, TRATTORIA ROMA!

I recently ate at this restaurant. My party and I had several questions about the menu and our server seemed kind of clueless about the answers. I ordered the wedding soup which came out with bits of fat floating on it, I tasted it and realized it was ice cold. So I sent it back and it came out piping hot. My main meal was the lasagna. It was excellent. My friends also like their meals but we thought it was overpriced. I think the lasagna at Villa Nova is just as good and 1/4 of the price. Our waitress came out with a stack of the covers for the bills. Then she stood there with a long strip of bills and tore them apart in front of us and put them in the covers. I just thought it was kind of tacky, like something they would do at Applebee's.

The service is truly as great as all the reviews say. The mushroom soup is fabulous. People who do bring young children tend to be responsible enough to remove them outside when they start becoming noisy. The restaurant is located in a trendy part of a trendy town in Columbus. Like all the yuppie/trendy areas of Columbus, parking is nearly impossible on a weekend evening. Unlike Cincy and other surrounding cities, everything here tends to be in a strip mall which means it doesn't have its own parking. We'd eat here more often if it had its own building.

Pros: Good food, Near Perfect Service, Grownup Friendly

Cons: Parking, Strip Mall, Small tables

the sauces make most of the dishes. it's all fabulous but the rotollo de pasta may be my favorite. when the young girl bartends it can be a little slow getting a drink. she seems to be very inexperienced.

We love to dine outside and think Trattoria has one of the best settings on Grandview Avenue. Our server was terrific, very knowledgeable both about the wine list and the dinner menu. We desided to go with the feature wine, Centine, which was a great match to go with our food. My Salmon raviolis were the best I have ever had and my husband's veal was perfectly prepared, the Tiramisu is the best in the city. We highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I were really looking forward to checking Trattoria Roma out, but were very dissappointed. At best, some of our food was adequate and much of if was poor. I got a shrimp dish with a tomato sauce (can't recall name) - the sauce seemed as if it came from Trader Joes and that they tried to heat up cold cocktail shirmp (many were still cold). All in all, the food lacked any imagination. We are generally pretty openminded, but this is one of the few places I don't think we'll give a second try.

I took my girlfriend here for her 22nd birthday because we were in the city for a concert, and I heard great things about it. It was her "best meal ever" and mine was perfect also. It is our new "spot" and plan on making the 5 hour drive for every special occasion. PERFECT food, PERFECT service, PERFECT atmosphere!
