Fabulous Pedicures

Melissa A does my pedicures. I have been going for 2 years and she is wonderful, professional, and enjoys working with her clients. I really enjoy Tranquility Day Spa and I have been to many a salon/spa in Columbus.

• Pros: Just a great spa atmosphere

SO RELAXING

I love this spa. I have gotten multiple facials there and have always had a great experience. I've even had my esthetician call to check-up on a treatment after my visit! I also had the best pedicure there! I highly recommend it!

Not my favorite spa

The staff at Tranquility seems to change a lot, but maybe that's the nature of the business. I've used their services on and off for a number of years. Erin is not there, so I followed her to her new place, Salon Lofts/Grandview.

I love the concept of Salon Lofts and the Grandview location is really nice, easy to park, nice central location.

• Cons: Erin no longer works there

Nice spa, but where did Erin go?

Erin was AMAZING. I have no idea why she is no longer here. This is a really nice spa! The atmosphere is awesome, and very relaxing. The oxygen facial is incredible, especially if you tend to suffer from dry skin. However, I don't buy their products because I don't like them. I had a bad reaction to the products I bought, as well as the sample products. Not sure why but I've never had a bad reaction with their facials, just the products they sell. Unless they don't use the products they sell? I know, it's weird, lol. I had a facial last week and had to try a a new girl since my regular girl doesn't work there anymore (very surprised by this). I really didn't care too much for the girl that did my facial. My skin didn't look any different! I don't think I will be going back. I gave this spa a great review because it's a great place, but without Erin it's just not the place for me. If anyone knows where she is working please post. She was a total asset!

• Pros: Relaxing, and the staff takes their time with your facial.
• Cons: Erin doens't work here anymore.

avoid it!! bad vibes all around...

I have gone here a few times before services were okay, girls were nice, but every time I found someone I liked going to they ended up leaving or being fired. Never knew what happened to them they would just try to switch me to someone else. A high rate of turnover is not a good sign in my opinion( even the girls up front change constantly).

The other downer is they push buying products way too much. It made me feel like they just wanted my money, even if I said I wasn't interested it would be waiting for me at the front desk. Making me even more infuriated. Its apparently a husband and wife who own it and I heard something being said about there being cameras there last time I was in. Last thing I want when going to a 'discreet tranquil' place is to be on candid camera!!

All this speaks of bad management and its very obvious that employees aren't that happy there. I'll go somewhere else and I'd advise others to do the same!

Best spa in Columbus

Tranquility Day Spa is hands down the best spa in Columbus. The most inviting spa I have ever been to. The customer service is outstanding and all of the services are amazing. When you enter the spa you automatically relax the spa decor is beautiful and I love all of the extra goodies they offer defiantly try the house tea it is wonderful. I have received several services at Tranquility and LOVED all of them. The owner and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about all products and services they offer. I recommend this spa to all of my friends and family. Best manicures and pedicures in town. Try Tranquility you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful customer service

Everyone is extremely nice from the first moment you walk in. The first time I was a client I was walked through every step that was going to happen before it did so I wouldn?t freak out?lol. I love my pedicures and manicures they have a wide range of colors to choose from. I also get my facials done here and would not go anywhere else. They customized them to what my skin needs which is wonderful. This is a wonderful place just to relax and unwind. Tranquility is just a true hidden hot spot!

Review of service

I made a reservation at Tranquilty on may 31st for an hour and a half couples massage for father's day for my husband and i. The appt was for the 16th, saturday. I planned to have a sitter for 6 hours (which was difficult to get at 1:30 in the afternoon until the early evening.) My plan was to surprise my hubby with the massage and then go to dinner, i had made reservations at 5pm after the massage. The massage was scheduled for 2:30 (i'd rather had not had it so early but i was told that to fit in the 1.5 hour massage i needed to have it scheduled no later than 2:30.) b/c the shop closes at 5pm on saturdays. I was also told come at/around 2:15 to fill out the necessary paperwork beforehand.

My hubby and i showed up at 2:20 and were told that we were late for our massage and that b/c the tech's had appointments after our massage that we either had to wait a half an hour or we could pay for the cost of our massage but only receive a 45 minute massage. I responded with "we have to pay for 1.5 hour massage and will receive only 45 minutes?" She told me that no i would pay for an hour massage and receive a 45 minute massage b/c we were only scheduled for an hour massage. I quickly corrected her and said "no i scheduled for a 1.5 hour massage, that's why we were there at 2ish in the afternoon, we would have never came that early, it's too much of a hassle otherwise!" The lady basically told me that no what they had written down was that i had an hour couple's massage scheduled.

I was and still am furious! I will not go back there and they ruined the plans i had made for my husband for Father's Day. I am so disappointed and so was he. I would recommend if you schedule an appt with Tranquilty that you write down the persons name who takes your reservation and that you call back in a few days to make sure that your reservation is accurate. It's just really disappointing,they offered us nothing for the inconvenience and instead just basically communicated they didn't care.

Best spa in town

I've been to Tranquility for manicures, pedicures, massages and waxing. All services were fabulous. I was very pleased. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and are skilled at what they do.
