Overpriced and stupid

by ecowgill03 at Citysearch

Just like all the bars at Easton, this one follows the path of "lets charge 4 dollars for a beer since we have a good location" - the prices are two dollars too much on almost everything and I really couldn't get the bartenders attention. It seemed they were only interested in the patrons who were flirting with them. Go figure. I actually had to get a barback to help me get another drink, which was watered down for sure. This Long Island Iced Tea probaley had 1.5 shots of liquor and the rest was sour mix. It sure as hell tasted like it. Once I moved to a table the server was cute and friendly and I got the service I finally wanted, but I was still paying too much. The food is actually decent for a bar and I was satisifed, but that's it's only saving grace.

  • Pros: The servers and bartenders are fairly attractive and give you something to look at while you wait 10 minutes for a drink
  • Cons: Way way way too expensive and the drinks are weak

Live music, tequila slammers and Mexican-American cuisine make this a hopping singles scene.

by Contributor at Citysearch

In Short
Mexican-style decor includes coarse wood furniture. The sign reading, "Mexico: 2,130 miles" is accurate, but the music pumped through speakers is not authentic. The silverware is disposable, which seems odd at this sit-down restaurant. The food is not hot--temperature or spice-wise, nor are the three house salsas. One stand-out is the blackened chicken breast with black beans, dirty rice and ripe plantains. Try the zesty Adobe Lobo margarita with Cuervo, Grand Marnier and Cointreau.

I LOVE ADOBE GILAS

by jrmgmt at Citysearch

I went to Adobe Gilas recently and had an incredible time. They have created a new food menu and it's awesome. The food is excellent and probably the best deal in rthe Easton area. I love the staff because they were very kind and accomodating. I took a date with me to the venue and we stayed and partied all night. If you havent been to Adobe Gilas, I would strongly enourage you to check it out!!!

Horrible Music, Weak Drinks

by nubiennelady at Citysearch

In a nutshell, this place bites. I guess it could be cool, if you're 21 and on a poor college student budget b/c they do offer some decent drink specials but they make the drinks so weak that you would have to keep buying to get a half decent buzz. The music/DJ leaves alot to be desired - it's top 40 (pop, hip hop, r&b) but the DJs don't pay attention to the crowds and play things that will keep the crowd interested

  • Pros: Cheap Drinks, Good 4 Young and Poor, Good Location
  • Cons: Weak Drinks, Poor DJ Selection, Young Immature Crowd

Adobe Gilas for singles?

by lkarr58 at Citysearch

Should be rated as good singles spot for those under the age of 30.......not comfortable for over 35's!

  • Pros: locations, people watching, good service when bus
  • Cons: , smoky, younger crowd

Three Strikes...

by FLooK at Citysearch

...and I'm out. I'll give a place three chances before I decide it's not worth my while. The prices are nearly as high as the corniness level. Margaritas were pretty good, but not good enough to keep me coming back to this funky-smelling meat bar.

Overrated

by bubbaprog at Citysearch

4.25 for a plastic cup of Coors Light, plastic silverware and the least flavourful Mexican food I've ever had.

I had to wander around the bar searching for napkins since none were served with my appetizer.

The server was nice enough, I guess, but I really can't figure out any decent reason to go here.
