8 year patron. Avoid multiple loans or services************** First the [credit union] staff told me to turn in a van that my ex was court ordred to pay for, but she did not. So the staff prompted me to turn the van in to them, and I did. They made it seem, as if, it was a good thing for me to do. They said it was not as bad as a repo. I thought they were going to auction the van and subtract the sale cost from the loan, and they did. BUT THEN THINGS CHANGED! I thought they were going to tell me how much of a payment was going to be needed to payoff the balance on the van. THAT NEVER HAPPENED! What did happen is that they gave me all kinds of misinformation still making it seem as if I just needed to catch up the car payment now , but then they repo’ed my other car that I was one month behind on but I had just made a payment on. They then told me that they changed their policy on Jan 07. and told that the accounts are cross collateral and that I needed pay 11,000 (which was the cost of both cars) to get may car back. On top of that they actually transferred funds from my checking to savings making things even worse by overdrawing my checking account to cover savings charges.
Pros: good rates
Cons: avoid multiple loans or services, one bad account=all bad
