Market Blooms is not only the best flower shop in Columbus, but in the State of Ohio. For starters, the service and friendliness of the staff is like no other. They are always willing to help, offer suggestions and make the transaction fun. They will create a masterpiece for you, even if you don't really know how to describe exactly what you want...they've never failed me. If you stop in on a Saturday, it's like being at a party! Second, Blooms has the best selection of flowers. You can always find the standard flowers most people like but I am always surprised to find exotic flowers, unique greens and extraordinary colors of flowers. I've also never bought flowers that last as long. I find myself wanting to change them out after a couple weeks and they are still going strong. Last, the prices are really cheap! You can afford to walk through and say, "I want that and that and that..." and trust that you can cover it all. I moved to Cleveland a while ago and have not found a close second, whenever I visit Columbus; Market Blooms is on my itinerary.

Pros: Fun, friendly, accomodating, many choices, inexpensive...

I went in to buy flowers for my dinner party. I had sort of an idea of what I wanted. I talked to the bouquet man, I don't know his name, but he said to go shop in the market and when I came back in a half hour I had a beautiful centerpiece for my table. It was just what I wanted. The price was great and I was able to use it for two weekends. Everytime I go there I leave happy. That guy is the best.

Pros: fantastic service, inexpensive, great service

Cons: saturdays are busy

I'm new to Columbus, and stopped in to the North Market a few weekends ago for the first time. The first thing I saw when I walked in was buckets and buckets overflowing with beautiful flowers! I couldn't believe all the different kinds they had...I bought some Gerber Daisies..they were so cheap, I was able to buy a dozen! The staff threw in some greenery to make a bouquet for me...they all really seemed to enjoy their work. But the best thing is the flowers lasted for more than a week! I couldn't believe it..I really got my money's worth. I will definitely go back and recommend Market Blooms to my friends. Thanks Market Blooms!

Pros: Beautiful flowers, Flowers last and last, Friendly, fun staff

This flower shop is located in a public market that is all about fresh stuff. They have fish, produce, breads, etc. just like in the big markets in Seattle and Toronto. The flower shop has a great selection at reasonable prices. It's really different from regular flower shops. We got bird of paradise for 3 bucks and a 25 pack of great roses for 15 bucks. The owner told me she buys direct from growers on alot of product which in turn gives her customers great variety and pricing. She was lots of fun!

Pros: prices, variety, a good time

I stopped in and bought some flowers. When I got home and gave them to my wife, she unwrapped them and noticed mold on the stems, and some under the blooms. When I took the flowers back (big inconvenience) the sales persons acted like it was no big deal. When I buy flowers I expect them to be fresh. I do not recommend Market Blooms.

Cons: poor flowers, rude, embarrassing
