Food and Drink
Both a restaurant and a bar, you can be just as comfortable grabbing a seat at the bar and ordering a beer as you can sitting down with a group as a booth and chowing down. The food is American: burgers, fries and finger foods.

Live Music
A small stage in the front window hosts big sounds on weekends. Local R&B and blues bands such as Conspiracy and Men of Leisure are regulars.

Vibe
The room is welcoming, with pleasant light and plenty of booth space. You can watch people on High Street while sitting at the bar, or check out the t.v. When bands are playing it's too crowded to move but still a good time.

Woof!
The Tavern became an official, licensed (who knew you needed a license for this?) Cleveland Browns bar. This explains the recent purchase of a wide-screen television.

Gotta love the Short!!!

We have been going to the Short for years and find it to be a great, laid back gathering place with really good bar food. They have a nice selection of beer at reasonable prices and the french fries and chili are killer. Great help, Allie is the best, and live music on weekends. Also a great place to people watch as it attracts a very eclectic crowd. The Short is great all around!!
