This is a wonderful, laid-back salon. My hair always looks great and I get lots of compliments on it, even though I don't like to spend any time on it. I've been going for 2 years now and they are always on time or close to it, very friendly and professional. Even when my regular stylist was unavailble, her replacement still gave me a fabulous cut! It's small so you don't feel like a cow being herded into a stall like some of the bigger salons, and they don't try to sell you products (of course they will give you good advice if you do want a particular product). The only drawback, for me, is all the Rolling Stones memoribilia because I'm not a RS fan. Sorry, Gina!

I have been going to Gina's for over 5 years now and love every minute of it!!! Haircut is always great, atmosphere is wonderful (good music, friendly, entertaining, upbeat, clean, etc.), and as others have said, the stylists are all awesome! Gina (the owner) personally cuts my hair as she specializes in men's cuts. It is like going to a Barber Shop except for one thing, it's fun!!! I always look forward to my next haircut at Gina's. This wasn't always the case previously when going to some of the other "larger" salons in Columbus. Gina's is the perfect size salon that keeps you from getting lost in the shuffle or becoming a "number". Gina & the staff always take great care of me, know me by name, & treat me like their only customer which is why I will be a lifetime patron!!! I hope you stop in to experience what I have and appreciate it as much as I do :-)

Pros: Everything!!!

Cons: None!

Gina's is a great place to go and get your hair done. The hair cuts and colors I have seen and had done myself have looked great. All of the girls are very nice, upbeat and friendly. It's nice to walk into a place like Gina's where everyone is attentive and professional. Gina herself is enthusiastic, has a vibrant personality and always seems to take a special interest in her clients. Plus, I still love the Rolling Stones and there is a lot of Rolling Stones material in the store.

This is a response to "greenpepper25"s comment about Gina's Hair Salon. I am the owner of Gina's, and I was very surprised to read your comment about us on citysearch. Of course no salon is perfect, and everyone has their bad days, but in my 25 years of being in business, I have never received such a bad review from a client. My staff and I pride ourselves on giving good service, and I would love for you to contact me personally so we could talk, and remedy this situation. Gina

I usually HATE going to the barber. It used to be a pain in the butt. Then my girlfriend turned me on to Gina's in Grandview and I actually had a good time while getting a killer cut. First of all, I love the ROLLING STONES and I guess the owner, Gina, does too. Gina's has some really cool Stones memorabilia on the walls. It's like getting you haircut at the Hard Rock Cafe or something. Another cool thing about the shop is they play cool music. It's not like going to my dad's barber. And to top it all off, there are like 4 hot chicks working there and they're all cool. It was more like hanging out at a pub with some chicks who actually listen to you instead of going to the dumb barber. Oh yeah, the gal that cut my hair used a razor on my neck which I had never experienced before. It was really cool and classy or something. I dont know if they do that for everyone, but make sure you ask for it. The only thing this place needs is BEER!

Pros: IT'S ALL GOOD!

Cons: MY HAIR GROWS TOO SLOW, I GOT NO EXCUSE TO HANG OUT THERE FOR 2 WEEKS!

I never let anyone work on my hair and a good friend talked me into trying Gina's because she has been going there for 5 years. I went and I can't believe what they did for me, my hair is very difficult to work with. I have gotten more compliments on my hair than I have ever had. I would recommend anyone who is scared of getting there hair done, as I have been for years, they should give Gina's a try. Very homey atmosphere, felt very welcome.

Pros: Made me feel very comfortable

I tried Gina's after reading positive reviews, so I wanted to give others a warning... perhaps I went to the wrong Gina's? The salon that I went to wasn't particularly clean. The girl who pretended to wash my hair didn't even get all of it wet. My haircut was interrupted by the stylist's coffee break-she left me sitting with (partially) wet hair tacked up while she chatted with the other stylists. When she was done, I had bangs. I didn't have bangs when I went into the salon, I just wanted a trim, perhaps she thought I'd look better with them? She had them snipped out before I could say anything, and afterwards I didn't want to annoy her (afraid she'd take it out on my hair). After the cut, she waved her blowdryer at me a few times-she didn't bother to style my hair, or even dry it-my hair was distinctly damp when I left (again I didn't make trouble-I just wanted to go home and try to get used to having bangs). For this oh-so-professional service, I paid $35. If I wanted a crappy cut from a rude stylist I would have gone to Great Clips and paid $28 less. My 'stylist' was named Sarah-buyer beware!!!

Pros: On time

Cons: Everything else!

I'VE BEEN GOING TO GINA'S FOR OVER A YEAR NOW. I HAD BEEN GOING TO A HAIR STYLIST FOR YEARS, BUT I WAS LOOKING FOR A CHANGE. I LOVE THE ATMOSPHERE OF GINA'S AS EVERYONE IS FRIENDLY! I STARTED TAKING MY MOTHER THERE ALSO, AS I FELT SO COMFORTABLE WITH THE STYLIST AND ATMOSPHERE. THE PRICES ARE REASONABLE AND I HAVE ALWAYS WALKED OUT OF THERE BEING QUITE SATISFIED. GREAT WORK LADIES...THANK YOU

Gina's not only cuts hair for my three boys and me, but the casual, warm people and environment make the whole experience inviting! it's also fun to go down memory lane checking out all the Rolling Stones memorabilia while my kids get a cut. We get great cuts and spend a really nice hour in Grandview, to boot.

Pros: Talented sylist, Grandview Atmosphere, Friendly staff
