Great service even on a game day!
by greengeekgirl at Citysearch
I visited this restaurant on 9/05/09. The service was great, despite the restaurant being absolutely full, the Greek Pizza was fantastic (everyone else's food looked good, too!); I loved the tzatziki (spelling?) and olive oil as the pizza sauce. I will definitely be returning for that pizza.
- Pros: Awesome Greek Pizza, Cool atmosphere, Great service
- Cons: No parking lot (but we managed just fine)
Great Food

I hesitated going after reading a few of the older reviews, but someone that lives in the area and goes there regularly suggested I give it a try. We went and man am I glad we did. Both the food and service were great. Very friendly atmosphere. I ordered the Greek Pizza and it was delicious. Best pizza I've ever had!! We'll definitely be back.
- Pros: Best Greek Pizza

The Greek chicken is to die for.........& I tried the Texmex Meatloaf last week......who would have thought...... this was also top notch. Unique decor....friendly bartenders. One of my favorite ethnic restaurants. AAAA++++
- Pros: The daily specials,,,,always top notch!
- Cons: Parking....parking...parking!
Easy Street Cafe

Decor = the coolest.
The greek food/nightly special is great. The other items are sandwichs and bar food. If you are ordering a steak/cavair = you are an idiot, and should look at your surroundings better.! Its usually busy on weekends. 4 Tv's at bar to watch diff. sports games. Be prepared to stand and have a beer while you wait if they are busy.
Always order the greek food, you wont be disppointed.
- Pros: Local Bar W/ Food
- Cons: parking can be a pain at times

I honestly know what the others are talking about. Easy st is always busy on Friday nights. The food has always been good. The owner comes in and hangs out with customers but he only sits and has drinks with family. I have been going there for years and will continue to do so.
The best bar/greek food in German Village
by runningbeard at Citysearch
The place has a local, neighborhood feel. It's been a fixture in German Village for years.
Very good greek salads, greek pizza is very rich (careful, don't overdo it!).
Decent bar, definitely a local favorite.
- Pros: Neighborhood feel
- Cons: Food not always consistently good. Usually, good more often than not.
I guess this place has it's good days and bad days
by redhatcolumbus at Citysearch
After a recommendation went there last week. I guess the place is good or bad depending on the day. After a short wait got a table and ordered. The bad part is when the food came...there was a hair that was not mine. A hair happends but I was a little put off by the attitude, they almost acted like it was my fault or something. After some to-do they took the meal off the check.
- Pros: Cool Ambiance
- Cons: Attitude
I would agree with JessieGV-avoid Easy Street!

The food was terrible, the owner sat at table with a bunch of people and was drinking like there was no tomorrow. I went in with a friend who came in from Houston and he recommended East Street because when he lived in Columbus, he would eat there. He could not believe how bad the food was and the service was beyond poor. As my friend said "how sad that a once fun place has turned into a loser of a place. " The place was not busy (this was a friday) and trying to get a server to wait on us was like next to nothing. Again, the owner did nothing but drink with what appeared to be his friends or employees.
We don't recommend you eat at Easy Street.
- Pros: Nothing - everything was terrible
- Cons: Bad food, bad service, drunk owner, poor parking
Unfortunately, it has gone down hill

The Easy Street Cafe used to be a great place to eat. The gyros and quality of the food was just wonderful. We used to be regular customers. Unfortunately it appears that things have changed. The last few times that we were in there the owner was just wasted, drunk, stupid....and the food quality was the horrid. I have no tolerance for a plate of greasy garbage, and that is exactly what the food was. The regulars have seen this as well because this spring the place has been dead. Is this place a restaurant or a hang out for drunks? Someone needs to ask the owner... There are certainly better places now to grab a bite to eat in the Village and not be insulted by disgusting food prepared by some drunk cook.
- Pros: Nice Pictures on the wall
- Cons: greasy food, drunk staff, rip off
Authentic and wonderful food. Owner/staff will make you feel like a regular!

I just got back from a wonderful trip to Greece. Although I had many lunches and dinners -only one meal was as good as the and authentic Greek food I eat at Easy. Really! Easy Street's Greek Salads, nightly specials and gyros are the best. We are lucky to be so close because we are regulars. We have eaten there pretty much weekly since they opened. With our record - I'd say we are pretty good judges of the consistency of the food and service. Friendly owner and staff that will make you feel like a regular the first time.
- Pros: authentic Greek food, comfortable environment, friendly staff
