avgolemono soup. The folks at Easy Street serve the best avgolemono soup I have ever eaten, hands down. They also offer the finest greek salad in the city. One of my favorite restaurants in the city.

Service could have been a little better.. After two visits, I can say I like this place. Their theme is Greek fair, but offer the standard good eats, like a nice burger or chicken salad. I dint like the fries tho...greasy and limp, but the gyro and cucumber sauce was dead on.

Service gets the lowest marks...when we got there, there was one booth, and 4 table available, and all were dirty. we had to stand by our table and wait until a server noticed us...only then did she come over.

Second visit, we were all but ignored. Slow to be greeted, running out of beverages, waiting for additional napkins, ect.

I also think they get a lot of run off from the always stacked Thurmans, right down the street. They art known for their great burgers, but there is almost always a wait...sometimes long.

I would probably go back, but its certainly not on my "must return" list.

Easy St, I love you so. My husband and I discovered Easy Street the way most people probably do - we went there after the wait at Thurman's was just too long and we have never looked back. We love this place and go there regularly because of the delicious food (great gyros and salads, amazing tsatsiki and hummus), laid back ambiance, friendly servers and roomy comfy booths. No matter how busy it is, there never seems to be a wait which makes the name so fitting - it's so easy! Wonderful, reasonably priced Greek food that is always accessible. And get the curly fries with your gyro, yum!

PS - their motto is "Feta makes it betta!" :)

My New Favorite Restaurant!. Was trying to get into Thurman's down the street and fortunately for us, there was a 1 1/2 hour wait. We decided to head to Easy Street and it's one of the best decisions ever made! Of the food ordered, we voted that the calamari, french onion soup, reuben, and philly steak sandwich were the best we've ever had. No joke! And we are food snobs! Then, there was the Greek veggie pizza with gyro meat. The absolute best pizza I've ever eaten! The prices are amazing too. Can't wait to go back and have told others to go there also!

Great casual dining. I have been going to Easy Street for lunch for at least 5 years. The quality of the food has been consistently well above average. The french onion soup in particular is very good. The service has also been consistently solid. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Great service even on a game day!. I visited this restaurant on 9/05/09. The service was great, despite the restaurant being absolutely full, the Greek Pizza was fantastic (everyone else's food looked good, too!); I loved the tzatziki (spelling?) and olive oil as the pizza sauce. I will definitely be returning for that pizza.

Great Food. I hesitated going after reading a few of the older reviews, but someone that lives in the area and goes there regularly suggested I give it a try. We went and man am I glad we did. Both the food and service were great. Very friendly atmosphere. I ordered the Greek Pizza and it was delicious. Best pizza I've ever had!! We'll definitely be back.

Easy Street Cafe. Decor = the coolest. The greek food/nightly special is great. The other items are sandwichs and bar food. If you are ordering a steak/cavair = you are an idiot, and should look at your surroundings better.! Its usually busy on weekends. 4 Tv's at bar to watch diff. sports games. Be prepared to stand and have a beer while you wait if they are busy.

Always order the greek food, you wont be disppointed.

?. I honestly know what the others are talking about. Easy st is always busy on Friday nights. The food has always been good. The owner comes in and hangs out with customers but he only sits and has drinks with family. I have been going there for years and will continue to do so.
