Something Old, Something New

The vibe is retro kitsch. Behold the leopard print rugs. Most of the staff is, was or will be in a band. The fliers on the wall tell you which ones. You can usually find some interesting odds and ends in the vintage section. The new clothes fit into four categories: rockabilly, goth, punk and club wear. The people wearing this stuff probably wouldn't get along in real life, but the clothes coexist happily.

The vintage clothes are reasonable, though new clothes are pricey, but no more so than elsewhere. Walk away with a vintage cocktail dress for under $50 and accessorize for a few dollars more. Things like big feather boas, bolero ties and jewelry complete your look.
