B Hamptons is closed. Don't know why. i lived across the street and one of the reasons I moved away was because of that bar, it was not the biggest reason. I'm sure the neighborhood is happy but all whom enjoyed the happy hour I grieve
- Pros: it was fun
Best happy hour in town
by tuck31 at Citysearch
There is nothing better than happy hour on a Saturday espically during football season. Their happy hour is $1 beers and $1 dollar well drinks. You would think the well drinks wouldn't be good. WRONG. Even with the drinks being so cheap, the drinks are made very strong. Sometimes too strong. The staff is very friendly. The food is very good. Its not 5 star but it still is worth the money you spend.
The crowd is decent. Just like any bar, the crowd is mix. Sometimes you can bump into a person that is rude and other times, you can bump into a person that is nice. The music is control by a electric jukebox that you can put your money into to play. If you want to play pool, they have 2 tables but get there early b/c there could be a wait.
The only downfall with this bar is the location due to the fact that there is not enough parking for the bar. Sometimes you will have to park up to 3 blocks away b/c of all the "NO PARKING" signs that are posted everywhere. So, just make sure you check out the signs around the area you parked so your car won't get towed.
Overall, this is a fun bar. I say that the crowd is anywhere from 21-35 years of age. At times, the crowd does look very good for both men and women. Check it out. Have a drink. Get a bite to eat and enjoy yourself.
- Pros: Happy hour, great food, great bartenders/staff
- Cons: Parking
Cheap food and drinks make this a mainstay for happy-hour seekers.

In Short
Located off the beaten path in the Harrison West area of Victorian Village, this is a cheap, dimly lit food, drink and gathering place, decorated with odd pieces of Southwestern art. Crowds cram in for the low-cost daily happy hour. Finger foods with a Southwestern flair. It is possible to get full meals here, but the majority of the cuisine is meant to keep something in your tummy while you imbibe.
Best Traditional Bar in Town
by steadymix1 at Citysearch
I have been all over town and this place always brings me back. The prices are fair (Awesome during Happyhour) and the food is surprisingly good for a bar. The scene brings locals, grad-students and young hotties towards the peek days. TVs, pool tables, places to sit and people watch...and then you see how many beautiful people show up. The real draw, everyone (staff included if you are polite and tip) is very friendly and approachable. If they had a patio, I'd never go anywhere else.
- Pros: Poplewatching, prices, location
- Cons: , Parking

I am not a fan of BHamptons because:
-there is no parking (last time got a ticket)
-it's loud and crowded
-invariably have to fend off annoying pick-up lines
The happy hour specials are good, especially if you get there VERY early before the Abercrombie/black pants set come in. A good place if you care about "being seen" by "beautiful people," but definitely not my scene
- Pros: cheap drinks
- Cons: , no parking, annoying
Best Meet and Greet in Town

Add one patio = best spot in town. The atmosphere rocks!!! Nice looking and very diverse crowd for 22-28 yrs. The $1 drinks cannot be touched by any bar around. The best nights to go... Thursday and Friday. You DEFINITELY will see beautiful people here, and if you come in enough and tip generously enough--the bar staff is very quick and generous. DO NOT TRY FAKE IDs--we learned the hard way. It can be crowded during peak hours (7-11pm), but if you come early, there is plenty of seating. overall best non-dance in town. A patio or fan in summer = best spot period.
- Pros: Sexy Crowd, Cheep Drinks, Off-Campus Secret
- Cons: No Patio
B Hamptons = B+

B Hamptons is a great jumping off point for an evening. You can't beat the $1 happy hour from 4-9. Though smokey and sometimes shoulder to shoulder, it helps that the person you are crammed next to is usually pretty good looking. Great service from the bartenders and wait staff. You will be surprised at the selection of other tasty, non-traditional pub foods on the menu. I highly suggest the Munchers when you've got a belly full of alcohol and only $1.50 left in your pocket.
- Pros: $1 happy hour, fun patrons, great afterwork bar
- Cons: smokey, crowded
Great Happy Hour!

I went to B Hampton's for happy hour on Friday and, yes, it was crowded, but you'll have that with $1 domestics. On my first trip to the bar, I had to wait for my beer, but I made sure that I took care of the bartender and did not have to wait for another beer the rest of the night. Just because the beer is $1 doesn't mean that you don't have to tip. Great deal all around.
