Love this place. I would never eat ribs or steak for that matter anywhere else. This place has the best servers, the best bartenders, and the best food!!! Took some friends there and they drive here at least once a month to eat here. They won't go anywhere else for ribs or steak.. My best friend loves the smelt there and no place else. Thanks for being in town. Love you guys.

Cons: not enough seating on friday and saturday nights.

Love the steak!!!!!!!The ribs are YUM!!!!!!!The service is outstanding!!!!!!!!!The location is o.k. This is by far one of the best places to eat in central Ohio!!!!!!!!!

The first few bites of anything with the barbeque sauce are delicious, until a few moments later, when I am overwhelmed by the amount of liquid smoke which seems to permeate everything. Unfortunately, these ribs are not SMOKED, they are steamed then grilled, and the smoke flavor you taste is artificial and from a bottle, and it is way over done. Avoid this place and just go to City Barbeque or Hoggy's. You wont be burping liquid smoke for a week at those places.

Hickory House in Reynoldsburg, Ohio is my favorite place to go. The food is always the same. AWESOME! The menu, drinks and service are also the greatest. It's easy to sum Hickory House up in one word. AWESOME! One of the other reasons my friends and I go there is that we can still smoke if we want. It's one of the few areas left in Ohio where smokers are welcome. It will be a sad day for all of us when the no smoking ban goes state wide.

This is where I go when I want good ribs! In fact, I go to Hickory House for my birthday dinner every year, and a few times between b-days too. My family just loves the food, from my 74 yr old grandparents to my 4 yr old son. There's something for everyone- I love the ribs & shrimp, my husband loves the steak & the french onion soup is a favorite for the entire family. They serve a basic iceberg salad, but add chinese noodles instead of croutons for a twist. The fresh-baked bread is mouth watering, and the desserts are delicous! Great service, low lighting, good for a quiet night out, or a large gathering- they have room for all!!!! Hickory House is a must if you like ribs! Forget about Montgomery Inn in Cincy- it's not even close!!

We first tried this place a year ago. Dont know why we waited so long...have been here no less than 10 times. ALWAYS the service is superb, and the steaks divine. The bread is the best in town...And the crab stuffed mushrooms are awesome. This place has never let me down. The only thing I have not cared for is their ceasar dressing. Too oily for me. Everything else is always great, but the service is tops.

Cons: long waits at times, Bar is small

Forget about all those high price places. This is the place for steaks and ribs. The top in FranklinCounty.
