Great ambiance with the snugs and the bars on multiple levels. When the weather is nice the patio is a great place to watch the world wander by. Parking can be a pain especially on Wed. since it's burger night ($3 for a great burger).

Pros: Laid-back, kind of an upscale hole in the wall. Great bartenders & Irish beer on tap.

Cons: parking can be a pain.

Though Brazenhead is WAY too lavish for a genuine Irish pub, the decor is nice, and the ambience relaxed. We've only been there for lunch, and have never had to wait for a table. The service can be a bit iffy - some of the young girls really don't seem terribly interested in taking care of the customers - drink orders are taken, then the server disappears for 10 mins, and there is sometimes quite a wait for food, even when the pub isn't busy. Still, I highly recommend their burger with garlic sauce - I always ask for extra sauce on the side to dip the home-made chips in. Delicious! Prices are a little higher than other places but, hey, that's Dublin for you.

Pros: Good food, Location, Beer selection

Cons: V. busy @ night, Parking, Iffy service

High on atmosphere, low on beer selection. Brazenhead is one of those pricey Irish bars that tries to capture the Irish spirit by actually importing fixtures from Ireland (Fado at Easton and O'Shaughnessy's in the Arena District did the same thing). Rumor has it the cost was $1M to re-create a real Irish pub. Dublin being a rather affluent suburb of Columbus, you are going to pay a little more for your food and drinks here. It is also packed at any peak mealtime. If you have a chance, make sure to ask for a "snug", which is a little semi-secluded room where you can have a little privacy to enjoy your beer and/or cigar.

Pros: Atmosphere

Cons: Crowded, Expensive
