I love my spa! Yes it is my spa. The key that if you get someone you like...get there CARD! Then when you book an appointment request for them. Often times they will ask if you want them again...SAY YES! Don't leave your experience up to whomever. A day at the spa to me is personal and I always request people that I had great experiences with. Also if those people know you requested them, they will make sure to make it a great experience for you again. Also Tip well! :) that also helps ALOT!!! All of this is true regardless of what spa you go to. I love the Retreat because it is close and relaxing compared to the Dublin Penzone that feels like a night club.

Pros: Great Environment and accommidating

Cons: Request past people for GREAT service

I was given their "holiday retreat '07" package as a x-mas gift from my boyfriend, which consisted of a manicure, pedicure, massage and facial. I was extremely excited that I was going to have a relaxing day at the spa, since I hadn't had a manicure/pedicure in a long while, and never had had a facial or massage. The pedicure was nice, but the polish job was probably one of the worst I have ever gotten for both my manicure and pedicure, and for what they charge for their services, it was definately not worth it. My massage was horrible and I couldn't wait for it to be over. The woman who was massaging me was doing it way too softly, and was not only making me uncomfortable, but my back didn't feel any better and I definately wasn't any more relaxed. My facial wasn't so bad though. I really liked the girl that did it, except when she was done, she just left me there with big oven mitts and saran wrap on my hands, that I had to take off myself. Definately not a good experience at all.

I'm torn as I have received good service there as well as bad service. My girlfriends and I went for a day of pampering. While they started their pedicures, the woman who was to do mine was really late for work and started me a half hour late then did my feet in 20 minutes (scheduled for 60 minutes) and it was hardly relaxing and they did nothing to compensate me-I was very disappointed. I haven't gone back and in search of a new favorite spa.

Cons: staff

New to the Dublin Area? Looking to Change Stylists? Look no more. Head to the Retreat Salon. Rest assured you will find a very well-trained professional stylist. I will be moving out-of-state soon and I am saddened to leave my stylist behind! Soon I will have to begin my own search. In writing this review, I hope to help newcomers to the Columbus area in the same endeavour.

I'm in my 8th month of pregnancy. My husband purchased a Gift Certificate for a day of relaxation. Boy, did I need it! The gift certificate came in a gift box inside a decorative gift bag w/color tissue including a complimentary bottle of Spa Hand Lotion. From the time I entered the beautiful spa I was waited on hand-and-foot. I got a Maternal Massage, 4-Layer Facial, Spa Pedicure w/paraffin and a Deluxe Spa Manicure. Relaxing music filled every room. I also was treated to a delicious catered lunch served in their beautiful Tranquil Room. Everything was perfect! I was blown away by the staffs professionalism, expertise and knowledge. They tended to my every need. My esthetician recommended a great At-Home Skin Regimen. Ive been to other day spas in Columbus, which I thought were good until I experienced The Retreat! Thank you to my husband for that wonderful day!

I thoroughly enjoyed a much needed spa day. The decor was beautiful! The atmosphere was very relaxing. The staff was wonderful! I received a haircut, color, massage, facial, pedicure, manicure & catered lunch. I've never felt so relaxed and pampered! Each service was wonderful and more than I expected. The staff was courteous, attentive and I didn't feel rushed. I was so impressed I purchased a couple gift certificates for my husband and mother. I received a follow-up phone call to make sure I was happy with my visit. I also received a thank you letter with 20% off my next hair service. I've been to many spas but The Retreat is the best! I will be a regular customer at The Retreat. I highly recommend it to any spa lover!
