I dated a Greek guy and I pretty much tried all the Greek restaurants in Columbus. My personal favorite was Nikki's on Morse until it was force to close down when Office depot moved into that plaza. I searched for years for replacement and was very happy when Greek corner opened on 161/Sawmil. Greek Corner may not be as good as Nikki's but it is VERY close. Lamb is always nicely done and their seafood soup (tomato based) was to die for! Gryo w/ seasoned fries are a must have, pasta is always awsome, fried smelts, pickled octopus, and calamari are great starters. You will LOVE this restaurant!
- Pros: restaurant space can be larger
- Cons: great food, great service
bad experience

We have gone here many times and were never charged a gratuity when we had six people ,went today and was charged 18% on a lunch that was over a hundred dollars.we are good tippers for the most part but no one has a right to tell me how much i am going to tip. This meal was great but the service sucked we were the only ones in the place and were seated quickly . We did not see the server again until another couple came in ,they were seated and had their food befor we even had our drink orders taken. The moral of my story is i should not be charged a fee for bad service .Our bill for 6 people was 131.00 dollars that was outrageous.we will not go back and will tell everyone i know not to go.And for the guy who says people dont have a right to their opinions needs to go back to china or what ever country he comes from that doesnt have freedom of speech.
- Pros: good food ,decent portions
- Cons: way to pricey ,
Don't order Squid

I ordered a carry out meal and one of the items was calamari fritti. After picking up the order I drove home to old Worthington - about 10 minutes away. There was an order in the car of two days in the sun fish on the way home. At home I was looking forward to one of my favorite dishes. However The fish stank so bad I could not bring it into the house! let alone eat it! If I had even tasted it I am sure I would have been deadly sick. My advice: Don't get carry out from the Greek Corner.
- Pros: great menu
- Cons: Bad food
BEST HUMMUS!
by ldis at Citysearch
Maybe a couple people had a few bad experiences here, and those people felt inclined to complain... but seriously, i've been going there for some time now and have yet to have one problem. The people are extremely nice there, the atmosphere is homey and pleasant, and the food is amazing. I went there initially to try something new, but i've continued going for the hummus, which is amazing.
- Pros: great food. good atmosphere.
- Cons: one or two people have a bad experiance here once and feel the need to complain
Bad Service! not so great greek!

My experience was mediocre for the price of a meal. They are worse than phone companys, they will nickle and dime you to death before you leave as well. There are many great choices for greek food in columbus but this is not one of them.
- Pros: decent food
- Cons: over priced, they will nickle and dime you to death
UNDERSTANDING GREAT.

I feel bad for all the people who write bad reviews. The food is delicious and you obviously don't know what great is. It's a business and yeah it might be a little expensive how about you save your crappy reviews and take then somewhere where they really mean something. Get a life. I'm sticking up for this place because it's delicious and the people your surrounded by are amazingly nice people. They treat you wonderful. There could be times where you might not like something that much , well i have a solution for you... get something else. For the person who ordered the lamb, there can be times where someone can run out of a specific thing, well if you wanted to try something new why don't you try something else like the chicken artichokes or another wonderful dish. For the person who said that the waitresses and waiters are awful, please at least they have a job. You say you hear fighting going on... well they are obviously speaking a different language, maybe it can be nice but loud speaking to each other, until you learn Albanian or Greek then you have the right to say something. Then you can tell us what they are saying to one another. Everyone needs a reality check. If Greek Corner was so bad then why do they get so much business? Exactly, because they are a good restaurant. Honestly, go somewhere else if you don't like what they have to offer. Save them from having inconsiderate customers such as yourselves.
- Pros: great food
- Cons: none
Delectable dishes galore!

After reading some of the angrier reviews on this site, I wonder if those who wrote them have ever waited tables or had a service industry job. I eat at a lot of different places, and while first impressions are important, sometimes things just don't work out the way they're supposed to, as with anything in life. I give every new restaurant 3 tries. If the 2nd is still unpleasant I voice my concern to mgmt, and if the 3rd time isn't a charm, at least I know that I'm not being a judgmental snob when I never go back.
I find that the authentic Eastern European charm of this restaurant shines through any snafus. The owners are lovely people who treat regular customers like family, and often greet newcomers or offer wine or dessert on the house. I cannot believe the reviews claiming the Moussaka to be bland, or the lamb to be boring. The food on the menu is extensive and includes something for all tastes. There are plenty of Chicken, Lamb, Vegetarian, and Traditional dishes that grace it, along with typical pita sandwiches, charming kids menu, and a fairly decent wine selection.
I would say the only downside to this restaurant is the lack of a computer system, which means everything is manually handled by the servers; you're stuck with the luck of the draw. Most of them seem to have good systems for handling timely delivery and retrieval of bills, but if you're there during a rush, expect to wait, especially if you insist on separate checks. My experience has been great with all of the servers except for maybe one or two in the last year, the dips and spreads are to die for, the pita bread is delicious, and I swear I would dip anything in their gyro sauce. If you like homemade food made from real ingredients, in lieu of the corporate alternative of deceitfully unhealthy prepacked overly preserved dishes, then I highly suggest trying this restaurant. If you find ignorance to be bliss, have fun at your local chain restaurant.
- Pros: Atmosphere, authenticity, family recipes, near freeway, large portions, selection
- Cons: occaisional slow service, wine and beer only
lamb not in stock
by mgs0lid at Citysearch
This is my first review of any restaraunt. Any ways I ordered a spicy lamb dish for carryout, but they were out of the lamb they needed to make my dish. But they said that they had different lamb and that the cook had some diferent lamb that was going to be prepred spicy but it was not at all. The dish was not even that flavorfull, and it was really expensive.
- Pros: great decor
- Cons: too expensive, some items not in stock, took forever for carryout
Wasted time

Stopped by to try something new. Slow service, disctracted waiters, wine did not get served properly, owner/chef horribly angry at her young son (as we learned from our waitress) and yelling from kitchen, ruined all atmosphere for our table close by.
Food very average, portions small for prices. DO NOT waste time going here. They will try to charge you even for some extra side sauce...
- Pros: Nice Decor
- Cons: unprofessional service, small portions, don't sit near kitchen!!!!!!!!
Best Greek, Best Service
by drizzle01 at Citysearch
The first time we went we got free apps and the owner/chef came out to introduce himself. We have gone back at least once a week since then. Whenever the owner sees us, he remembers our names, including my 15 month old daughter! The gyros are THE best I have ever had, and I grew up in a Greek and Italian family. The lamb chops are delicously seasoned and grilled to perfection. I go back because of the the owner, wait staff service and of course the food! Try the Saganaki, spread combos, lemon soup and pastas!!! If you are looking for a great dining experience and reasonably priced restaurant, the Greek Corner is KING!!!!! All my friends have loved it... and they are not familiar with Greek food! OPA!!!!!!
- Pros: intimate setting, service, food, Greek beers
- Cons: wine selection, but getting better
Small portions, boring food and no pita bread included because owner says she can't afford to give it away!
by javamad at Citysearch
What was supposed to be an evening of reunion and cheer for five soon turned sour. The food, lemon chicken, lamb shank and mossuka was quite boring and portions overpriced compared to other wonderful Greek alternatives in the area. The owner explained that she could not afford to give us a small plate of pita unless we ordered an appetizer because her costs go into buying fresh products. A previous visit was more pleasant for us at lunchtime but apparently the young wonderful waiter who served us was fired because he was incompetent and gave away too much pita. We were embarrassed to hear him slandered so viscously in front of other customers. Recommendation: if having to use your entertainment coupon, order a gyro and be happy. Or better, forget the coupon and try another Greek restaurants, one on Sawmill and the other on Fishinger that has better quality, calmer waiters and a fairer proprietor.
- Cons: Pita bread comes only with appetizers; owners very stingy, slander past waiters; food boring
