unacceptable behavior

The food at Happy Greek is great, and so is the service, but I've never been more uncomfortable at a restaurant...I am a woman in my mid/twenties, and during my last visit 2 visits there the owner, Adrian Tara, was around and kept staring at me from head to toe as I was trying to enjoy a meal there with my fiance. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and perverse since no one should be stared down while trying to eat. I just wanted to say that these antics need to stop, expose Mr. Tara and say that I will no longer be frequenting the place.

Best humus in columbus. Love the gyro salad and the salmon is OUT of this world!!!!

Bad Customer Service, Bland Gyro?s, But Great Atmosphere.

This time getting lunch from them was not so good. The meat in the gyro was very bland and the sauce on the gyro you could hardly see the pita was chewy. I called to let them know and the person that answered the phone said that is how they get the meat from the manufacture. She did not seem at all interested in my complaint and did nothing about it. We had ordered 3 meals and they all were not good. I am not a complainer but if you own or run a business you should be concerned with the customer?s comments and try to make them happy. If I was eating in the restaurant I would have sent it back to the kitchen but importunely I had it brought back to my place of employment. It will be a long time that I will consider ordering there again mainly because of the customer service (the lack of).

Don't go for lunch

I've been to the Happy Greek several times, and while overall there service is a bit slow, I have never minded because the food is good. However, after a recent experiance I will not be going back.

I went to lunch with a friend and we arrived before most of the lunch crowd. We ordered our food (mine was a salad) by 12:00 if not a few minutes before. By 12:40, we still did not have our food. Our waitress said the kitchen was backed up- yes, that's true, but we ordered before the crowd! Plus, 40 minutes for a salad is WAY too long.

We ended up leaving, never receiving our lunches, because we only have an hour for lunch and had no more time to wait.

I would not recommend going there for lunch- EVER!

Very vegetarian friendly

There are so many options for vegetarians on this menu. If you appreciate great culinary food, but are a vegetarian - this is the place for you! They have an entire selection just for vegetarians. The pastichio is to die for - so is the combo plate. The melitzano salata will be better than sex! I can't' say enough about this food. Its so nice to finally have options as a vegetarian other than "pasta"! I haven't even touched on the atmosphere! FANTASTIC. you'll want to go to greece!

Romantic yet kid friendly

I loved this restaurant. The selections are numerous and the specials are extremely creative. The price is unbelieveably affordable and I guarantee you won't leave hungry. I love the interior, the service and servers are wonderful, and the food is awesome! Everyone should try this restaurant at least once. Oh yea, I've had the fried calamari several times and each time it is perfect. That alone is worth it to me.

Go before everyone knows about it

What a pleasure. The Happy Greek was so much fun...I can't wait to go back. The restaurant presents a warm, comfortable environment where it is easy to enjoy the delicious and hearty meals offered there. The friendly and helpful staff, and the prompt food service, also help make each moment memorable. Definately try this place out before its too popular to get in.

New owners are terrific

How does someone know the first and last name of the owner who claims he was staring her down? Adrian is happily married, and while he does look after all his customers, he's not a pervert. This review must have come from an employee that he fired because she was lousy.

very very nice restaurant...small friendly atmosphere very friendly service team. went on a whim and left with a smile. i highly reccommend this to anyone...perfect for casual meetings or a dinner date or just drinks at the bar.
