Great Food and even better Sports Pub
by Mixlea
Upon moving to the US from England, I was pleasently surprised to find a buzzing atmosphere that gets up early to watch Premier League Football (Soccer) matches on Setanta or Fox. Most of the top teams a re represented, such Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Villa--but I was pleased to see some patrons in the pub (as early at 8am) supporting other clubs--Sunderland, Everton and Newcastle for example. The breakfast was tasty and the portions are great.! They offer Irish, English and American breakfast options. We noticed that most of the customers seemed to be "regular" patrons. Some had their own section (the Celtic FC Supporters Group) and the staff seemed to know everyone's favorite drink when they walked in! The patio is nice, though no television outdoors. It can be a bit of a "real" pub in the early mornings--which is a bit odd to say. Turns into a more family establishment in the afternoon. The staff, especially the bartenders, were very freindly and the guests seem to act as ambassadors to the venue for new people--which makes one feel very welcome. If you like european football, then this is a good place to visit.
- Pros: Great Soccer Pub, Good food, Beer Selection, lots of plasma TVs, ample parking
- Cons: Small space, limited seating, crowded on matchday, pricey

Irish pub serves a selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and Shepherd's Pie and offers draught and bottled beer.
Good Pub Feel to it
by lunastar32
I went to England when I was a teenager; true you can't compare the two, but Fado's did an okay job at recreating the pub feeling. Good stout beers and large portions of food.
Love FADO and Scott!!

Fado is truly an Irish pub in every sense of the word! The owner and staff know all the people that walk through the door and nobody goes unnoticed. The food was great and it was the best pint of Guinness I have ever had!!
- Pros: Great Guinness, Great Food, Great Staff
Great Pub
by Anthony_Jones
I started working in Columbus in 2002, and Easton quickly became one of my favorite haunts, with Fado's high on my list. Speaking with some limited experience on English/Irish pubs, the atmosphere at Fado's is top-notch, with authentic-looking props and a nice comfortable "clubby" feel to it. The staff is very attentive and welcoming, and it doesn't take long to become a 'regular'. The Monday night trivia contests test your knowledge, with some great drink and gift certificate prizes. A great place for after work drinks, with some good strong brews on tap. Highly recommended!
- Pros: Intimate if desired, Comfortable, Great staff
- Cons: Noisy when crowded, Parking hard to find
At Home Feeling

I was impressed with the set up and all the decorations. You walk in and make yourself right at home. Don't you won't go unnoticed! Service is quick, friendly and exceptionally good. The food was great and personally perpared. If you want a casual night out with good spirits, it's a must.
- Cons: small, limited parking
