What users are saying:
Sandwiches go gourmet at this quick-service chain known for its wood-fire hearths and signature flat bread.

In Short
Styled to evoke the feel of a Parisian café, the focal point of each restaurant is an open-flame stone oven, which swiftly turns out thin-crust pizzas, made-to-order panini and open-faced melts on Roman-style flat bread. Fresh ingredients--including mozzarella, tomatoes, buffalo chicken and secret-recipe dressings--are used in both the sandwiches and the long list of specialty salads. Sweet treats like S'mmm.Oreos (chocolate bar, graham crackers and marshmallows with an extra-large Oreo cookie) are equally popular.
Grease City!

After going to Cosi for the first time today, my decision is that it will also be the last. I ordered the Turkey Cheddar Melt with a side of carrots, but I guess they thought I said chips. The sandwhich bread was hard as a rock and the inside of the sandwhich was grease city. I don't know how all of that grease didn't soften the bread. I can't believe they can charge $7 for this meal. You can go down the street to Panera for a pick two meal that has a larger sandwhich and a side of soup for the same price without the grease.
I love this place!!

I am happy that I found COSI, it is a great change instead of the same old fast food chain. The food is great i highly recommend the Thai peanut noodle plate.

I have been to a few different Cosi's around Columbus and none compare to the one on Bethel Rd. The service is always top-notch, and the food is if possible better than some of the other Cosi's in Columbus. I enjoy eating there on a regular basis.
- Pros: good food, good service
if you must -- takeout

If there is one advantage that this type of chain restaurant is supposed to have over independent eateries, it's consistency. I'm sure the food at this Cosi is the same as you'd get at any other, but the atmosphere is much plainer than at any I've been to. It seems unsure of whether it's meant to be a healthy fast food joint or a low-end casual cafe. It has two inexplicable comfy chairs in the front window but otherwise could have been a McDonald's in a former life. My hummus and "fresh" veggie sandwich was adequate, but the plastic baggy my carrot sticks came in suggested that "fresh" is relative. The employees are perfectly minimum-wage pleasant, but honestly, there are other comparable establishments that serve the same purpose and do a better job of it.
- Pros: fast, convenient location
- Cons: no atmosphere, not inviting
