From The Vine has one of the biggest selections of wines and beers I've seen anywhere! I was in there one afternoon and counted 60 different Zinfandels! I'm talking the red (and only kind of Zin) of course. They probably had 90 different Cabernets and about the same amount of Chardonnays! They carry a wide selection of California wines and Import wines. As for their beer selection....on of the best in the state. I'd say they have at least 250 different beers. Good beers that is, I'm not talking Bud and Bud Light here. The customer service is awesome and there is always someone around to help you find that special beer or wine, or to answer any questions you might have. The owner, Jaimie is always there to offer a suggestion and she is great if you're looking for a wine to pair with food! I was VERY surprised with the first review that was written on this shop! My friends and I have had nothing but great service here and they are always willing to make suggestions on another wine if they don't happen to have the one that you're looking for. When you stop in, make sure to get on their e-mail list..they have wine tastings every month and beer tastings 3-4 times a year.

I had a talk with a close friend and he said they weren't the most helpful or the friendliest. He asked if they had a California Columbard or French. The attendant just said "No!". I am in customer service I might have suggested something else as a close comparison. i.e... if you like that wine you really should try this.....

From The Vine is the kind of wine/beer store I am happy to have in my neighborhood. The proprietors actually engage you in conversation and are very pleasant, they know their wine, and they don't try to sell you the most expensive bottle when you tell them what you are looking for. It beats liquor and grocery stores hands down! They have also started to expand their beer selection which is great, you can get stuff away from the usual Bud/Miller/Coors like Old Rasputin, Arcadia, Stone, Bluegrass Brewing, etc. Worth checking out!
