I've been going to Bliss for years now. It is always the best experience while I'm there. Rhonda, Julie and Rick are always friendly and welcoming. Not once have I ever recieved bad customer service. Everyone is very easy to talk to. I've recomended Bliss to everyone I know and everyone has had the same experience. My entire family get's there hair done there. Keep up the great work.

I live in NYC now, but I was a client at Bliss for three years. I could go to any of the top-name salons in Manhattan, but I still miss Bliss! Rhonda, my stylist, is creative, talented and fun. She always very patiently explains how she's styling my hair so I can replicate the look at home. She's great with all textures of hair, too -- she managed to tame my wild curls! Whenever I left Bliss, I always felt like a million bucks. Some day when I am back in Ohio visiting relatives, I just might call her up to see if she can fit me in!

Pros: bright, clean, fun, friendly, talented stylists

Cons: not cheap, but worth it

After reading the reviews and one recommendation from a co-worker, I was excited to try Bliss. What a disappointment. After giving a descriptive and detailed list of what I wanted, I received the exact opposite. The stylist chose to "texturize" my hair excessively leaving me with approximately 1/3 of my original hair. I cannot begin to describe how terrible this looks. The stylist was ten minutes late, the cleanliness level left something to be desired and she had me sit under a dryer for 20 minutes rather than hand dry my hair so she could attend to personal phone calls. After my scalp was singed from the heat and I turned off the dryer she stayed on the phone another five minutes before returning to her job. Really awful experience. Terrible haircut and service.

I believe i have tried every BIG typical salon/spa in Columbus, and it always starts good but it ends up the same way, you don't get what you want, or what you communicate turns out to be something totally different than what you thought you were going to get. I finally found Bliss the salon through citysearch and i have never been so confortable and at ease while getting my hair done. Rhonda is amazing, she actually listens, every thing i say, she actually captures and the end result is awesome. I have not ever walked out unhappy at all. I highly recommend Bliss.

Pros: great service, they listen to your request, and they follow through

I had my first appointment with Rhonda Thursday after finding Bliss on Citysearch. I am so happy that I found this salon. Rhonda does an awesome job on color and cuts. She took her time with me and made sure my hair was beautiful when I left. I was shocked at the price for the amount of work she did. Very cheap! I normally don't like to go get my hair done, but with a glass of wine and good conversation I can't wait for my next visit!

A recent transplant to Ohio, I was having a terrible time figuring out where to get my hair cut and colored. I tried a couple of places that were recommended to me but left them feeling.. well... the way you do when your hair isn't good. Anyways, after reading the posts by previous reviewers, I gave Bliss a shot. Julie gave me beautiful color, didn't force me to cut my hair again (so soon after a previous bad haircut) and I made me feel as though we were old friends. I'm going back shortly to get some fresh color, and this time I'll have her give me a cut, too. I'll let you know how that turns out - but for once I have no trepidation about it.

Pros: price, parking, friendly atmosphere, classy, and most importantly getting exactly what I asked for - great hair.

I'm a guy and I pretty much think that guys can cut their own hair with an at-home razor. No fuss with guys really. However, my girlfriend talked me into getting my hair cut at a salon once and I did. I did a better job myself. So, I was reluctant to pay to get my hair cut at a salon again, but she talked me into again and I am glad that she did. Julie, at Bliss, did a great job! She took her time to explain what she was doing and even told me how to style my hair with little time. The atmosphere was fun and I actually enjoyed getting my hair cut. Definitely check this place out!

This is a wonderful place! Julie is very knowledgeable and does an amazing job! She is so friendly and fun that you will feel like you've just hung out with an old friend but left with better hair. The salon is clean and bright and the service is fantastic. Go in, have a nice beverage, some laughs and get a wonderful hair cut while you're at it! I highly recommend Bliss and I have never written a review before, good or bad, so this really had to motivate me!

Julie is the best! She took the time to really look at my hair and proceeded to give me the best haircut I've possibly ever had. She really seemed to understand the ins-and-outs of fine, straight short hair. She also did a fabulous job correcting my color. And I was shocked when I paid--it is CHEAP! I cannot express how impressed I am by Julie's skill, and I am extraordinarily picky about my hair. I also looked on as Rhonda was cutting hair, and she did a spectacular job as well.

Pros: Very flexible, Very skilled, Very comfortable

I moved to Columbus not too long ago. I had a hard time finding someone who would do my hair the way I like. After reading these reviews I gave Bliss The Salon a try. I had Rhonda cut and style my hair. This is the first time in 20 years that I let someone cut my hair up to my shoulder. I love it. Rhonda took her time with me. We had a great conversation. She's so friendly and made room for my appointment. This is the place I'll go from now on. Thank God for City Search and the reviews. It helped a lot.
