User Reviews for Polaris Crossing

I have been staying at Polaris Crossing for 4 months now. I have noticed that in the thick of winter, when there is heavy snowfall, there is no cleaning whatsoever done. Who would be responsible if theres a skid and accident in the parking lot ??? Weekend services are charged for, we don't call maintainence unless needed, right. Though everything is nearby, the apartment services are not upto the mark for a complex as big as Polaris Cossing. And when I was about to write this review, I read the ones about move-out charges, it does scare me if this is the story for each move-out. And I have heard that some days ago, laptops were stolen from houses and GPS Systems from Cars, makes me wonder if its safe at all here.
Pros: Mall, eating joints nearby
Cons: Poor maintainance

My husband and I recently found out that our former landlord sent collection letters to my employer and family members about a damages charge for our apartment after we moved out...After moving out on July 31, we never received our security deposit or any bill, so this was the first time hearing of this. After requesting an itemized bill over the phone AND via fax and certified mail, the company has refused to give us a bill several times and threatened us with ruining our credit. My husband and I both received phone calls telling us to not contact them again unless it is through our lawyer, and then were hung up on. We have made it extremely clear that we will pay, we just would like an itemized bill, but he refuses and says he already turned me in to the credit agencies. We call the Polaris Crossings office and they just direct us to the Collections department....

Polaris Crossing Apartments in C-bus OH (run by Ardent Properties) will look extremely appealing at first and while you live there, the conditions are alright. Once you move out, the nightmare begins. If you don't mind paying for "damage" which never existed, then you will be fine. Have some money set aside - the costs will be extensive. Now I have found online feedback from many other individuals (some who have taken this company to court over similar charges) and I wish I would have read these before signing that lease. We lived at Polaris Crossing for less than four months. On our final day, we took pictures of every room in hopes to avoid any problems (as we have done in every other apartment and never had an issue). A month after our move out, we received a letter outlining our "damages". When we asked to see the apartment, we were told it was already rented out. When we asked to speak with the individual who reviewed our apartment, they were unable to be reached. When we asked to speak with someone to compare the pictures to the actual damage, no calls were returned. Our original Polaris Crossing representative at the complex has told us that she cannot help and keeps sending us to their resolution department (who knows where that exists). We have tried repeatedly to get in contact with someone there. We finally received a letter from that resolution department which told us that our inquiry had been addressed - nothing would be changed and do not contact them again. Great customer service! At this point, we are less concerned about the cost. We would just like someone to show us this "damage". We left the apartment in top condition - actually, a bit cleaner than what we received. We feel we are justified in asking to see what we have paid for. This apartment is the fourth one we have rented and we have never encountered an issue like this one. Please consider other places before signing here. This is solid advice.
Pros: location near mall, parking was decent
Cons: difficulty verifying move-out charges, hear neighbors thru walls,
