thrilled
by jan43221 at Citysearch
my father passed away & I had tons of out of town guests, my brother (the beer snob) was happy, his sons 3 & 7 were happy. My other brother & his wife, their 2 kids & partners, my 3 cousins, their spouses & kids were happy. I was thrilled, I brought this entire group as well as smaller parties several times that week & every time everyone was happy. I've had numerous meals here & it's always been a great experience, I can't thank you enough.
Fish and chips to die for!
by brit1 at Citysearch
If we fancy Fish and Chips, we go to the Old Bag. Nobody but NOBODY does it better! Ok, so the chips aren't as good as those back home in Britain, but at least they resemble chips and not fries. The fish filet is enormous, and is extremely good quality. The Old Bag offers an extensive range of beer. Try their pear porter for a refreshing summer tipple. In the evening, there is usually a long wait to be seated so I recommend going for lunch. The service is good, and the staff are friendly.
- Pros: Fish and chips, Fish and chips, Fish and chips
- Cons: Parking
They have TENNENTS of SCOTLAND!
by MissKittyFantastico at Citysearch
As you can tell from the tittle- big fan of Tennents- a lager from Scotland and unlike every other bar in Columbus- they carry it.
The pub is a great addition to the atmosphere in UA. A great place for family, reunions or just to watch the game.
The Fish and Chips- a staple of england is the best in town and their wings rival the places that specialize in wings.
But nothing surpasses the amount of choice of suds.
Check it out.
- Pros: Tennents Lager, Inexpensive, Great Service
