Baja is better!
by SMB2002 at Citysearch
Baja Fresh I believe one of the best, faster mexican restaurants. I would have to agree with the one rater who said that you either like baja fresh or chipotle. I do not like chipotle, but baja fresh is very tasteful. Basically everything I have gotten has been very good and very tasteful!
- Pros: Inexpensive, A lot of seating, good food
Charbroiled meats and fresh salsas add authentic spice to this Mexicali fast-food chain.

In Short
High tables and a busy open kitchen welcome diners into the spacious, brightly lit black-and-white interior. Just minutes after cashiers take customer orders, fresh-made tacos, burritos and enchiladas (stuffed with steak, chicken or seafood) arrive on the nearby counter. The menu also offers several plates of greens, from typical taco salad to fancier bowls with shrimp or mahi mahi. A stainless-steel bar offers several salsas, plus jalapenos, limes and cilantro for seasoning.
Boring

Everything tastes the same. If you are forced to eat here, get the chicken nachos but don't get your hopes up. It's all very bland.
- Cons: Bland
Fast but good!

The food was served in fast food style but sit down style quality. Kids (2 years and 4 years) loved it too!
- Pros: kids loved it too
Very Good!

Between Baja and LaBamba, it's a toss up. Both are excellent. Those that say it is bland, must not like that charbroil flavor. You will get it here. They are very tasty and very fresh. Much fresher tasting than Chipotle. Chipotle is good, but not as good as Baja. Check them out if you like charbroil flavor (it's not over whelming either), you won't be disappointed. Happy eats!
Bah to Baja
by theuntouchable at Citysearch
I have a bit ot a theory...I think that people are either fans of Chipotle or Baja, but never both. So far, those of my friends who liked Chipotle were not impressed with Baja, and vice versa. I personally am Chipotle person myself. I thought the food at Baja was bland, and though the salsa bar was nice, it could not compensate for the lack of flavor in the burrito. However, see for yourself--if you don't like Chipotle's!
Baja is (almost) better than sex

Great service with a smile, and food that makes you go "mmmmmhhhhh" (literally out loud)
Stop reading this f@#$ing review and get over there and try it if you don't believe me!
- Pros: Food, Service, Employees
- Cons: Too few locations, No Hennessy Tobasco, No Coke (Pepsi)

OK, I was dubious before checking out this weirdly large, Crayola-colored fast-food joint, but I'm a convert. The food was fresh and surprisingly well-seasoned, and the salsa bar won me over completely. Can't beat it for speed, quality, and cost.
