Very disapointing
by woodyisadick
I was concerned for my safety outside and the whole place smells like urine.
This place cant hold a candle to the likes of Michigan Stadium or Notre Dame Stadium.
Poor Sap

For the poor saps who feel they need to be critical of OSU Football Fans...I can only say, you must either be a Michigan Fan or a fan of some other team who lost to Ohio State. Ohio Stadium is a GREAT place and no other stadium in College Football come close on game day. Even if you are not a Buckeye fan, you will be electrified attending a game there.
Home of the Ohio State University Buckeyes, this massive stadium is a landmark college football facility.

The Venue
Nicknamed "the Horseshoe" for its unique double-deck, U-shaped design, Ohio Stadium was built in 1922 and is listed in the National Registry of Historic Buildings. Since then, renovation projects have widened the concourses, added revenue-generating box seats and concessions, improved restroom facilities and installed modern scoreboards and a grass playing field. With more than 100,000 seats, this grand old structure is both intimate and intimidating.
The Experience
The stadium is home to the Ohio State University Buckeyes, a football team with a loyal following and years of tradition. On game days, expect a near-capacity crowd shouting the Buckeye Battle Cry and look for the Ohio State Marching Band dotting the "I" in the famous script Ohio formation. The venue hosts concerts as well; the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, U2, Elton John and George Strait are some of the big names who've graced the turf.
One of the best Football experiances
by Viking
If you are a football junkie this is heaven. I took a friend of mine to his frist OSU home game last year. Even though the Buckeyes were not doing all that well you could not tell. He is from Virginia and thought he understood "tail gating" There is no better pre-game warm up than here in Columbus. With the new and improved stadium the experiance is just going to get better.
Epitome of Columbus Ohio
by dogbrick
Nothing better personifies the city of Columbus than Ohio State, and more specifically Ohio Stadium. Being an OSU grad, I was very nervous throughout the entire construction project. I was afraid that the stadium would lose its mystique and aura but luckily that was not the case. Being in a stadium full of 100,000+ screaming people is truly and indescribable event and I would recommend anyone visiting Columbus get their hands on some OSU tickets and experience it firsthand.
The ups and downs
by pkconnor34
The new renovations are great to pack more people into the stadium to cheer on the Bucks. If you're a woman you will appreciate the number of restrooms available. Tradition remains with Block "O" but I am not sure that I like the student section so far at the other end. It does however make for better chats.
The down side is that they have packed more people into the stadium at the cost of less room per person.
