ok, not great

as far as movie theaters go, this one's ok. i don't go to movies as much as i used to because this theater is always really crowded on the weekends. this will be my first summer in c-bus so maybe it will be less crowded when most students are away.

the theater is nice but has had problems with the movie at two different movies. i don't get the popcorn anymore because it always tastes stale to me

• Cons: too many people on the weekends

Too crowded

The Lennox is only a good place to visit in the summer, weekday, and work hours. Why? It you go any other time it is crowded! I went one Saturday and could not find a park.

This theater rescued OSU students from trekking to Mill Run or Northland for first-run movies.

The Setting
AMC Lennox--which anchors a shopping center with Barnes & Noble, Bath and Body Works and other stores--has made an effort to avoid ugly multiplex hell. It's done in that "art deco" style many theaters across the country have adopted over the last few years. It also has stadium seating and--ahhh--super-comfortable reclining chairs.

History
The 24-screen theater opened in late 1996 off Olentangy River Road. OSU students cheered; proponents of Studio 35, a single-screener in Clintonville, bemoaned the coming of the multiplex. Today, only the 30-screen Planet Movies is bigger.

great place!

There is a trio of great movie theaters around this area and the Lennox by far leads the pack. If I can I always go to this theater. Despite what Mr. bogus feels this theater is great. It always permeates a great atmosphere and the people there are friendly. I reccomend this to whoever I can.
