Built in Eden Park between 1933 and 1937, the conservatory entices the senses with lush plant life no matter the season. Display areas feature cacti, orchids, palms and tropical rain forest plants, complete with a 20-foot waterfall. The early summer butterfly exhibit is one of the most popular. There's also an excellent gift shop for the home gardener, staffed by volunteers who can help you solve the mysteries of slugs, acidic soil or black spot.
