STAY CLEAR! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! After my hairstylist of 10 years moved to California, I went to this place as a recommendation from a friend. The stylist, Maria, left my foils on too long and my "sunkissed" highlights were almost white on my dark brown hair. When she realized she left the bleach on too long, even after I told her my hair pulls fast, she put a toner on it. She didn't cut my hair wet at all. She dried it and then ran the scissors through it for about 30 seconds. She said to give it a few days and call her if I was unhappy. After going home and looking at it closer, I called the very next day to ask if she could tone the white highlights down and blend the cut better. My hair looked streaky and choppy. The receptionist was really rude and said she would give Maria the message. I didn't hear back from Maria that day or the following, so I called again to see if she could fix her mistake. The receptionist said "Oh I told her you called and she said she doesn't have time to fix your hair." I called the salon three times asking to speak to the manager, hoping to get my $130 back or someone to fix the mess that was made, and neither the stylist or the owner ever returned my calls. Never experienced a salon with such horrible customer service and unwillingness to fix their mistakes.
Wonderful Experience with Stylist, Sara!. She's smart, funny and does good hair...what more could you ask for?! I came to her in need of a botched color job and she has begun to work her magic and I feel better each time I go in. She was honest when I first went in and let me know that my hair was too damaged to "fix", gave me a deep conditioning treatment, gave me some samples of the conditioner and instructions for the next few weeks. Unheard of! Usually salons try and push product after product on you. The whole experience was refreshing and gave me the hair hope that I needed. She, herself, has beautiful hair, which is always a great sign. HIGHLY recommend her.
