Great Food.... When I have been there, the steaks, salads and sides have always been fantastic, far better than outback or longhorn.

A Cut Above the Rest. I grew up only ten minutes from J. Alexanders but I am now at college. So whenever I go home, my parents already know where we are going to eat. We regularly choose J.A. over Ruth's Chris and Mitchell's which are also at the same location. My parents always get the filet, which is always great. My favorite is the Lime chicken. The salads are large enough not to get an appatizer and the MayTag Blue Cheese coleslaw is a great side. I ALWAYS finish with the "Very Best Chocolate Cake". Forget the hot fudge and icecream that come on top, the cake holds its own.

great. everything about the dinner was great. my husband even ate the tomatos in his salad even though he hates them. we asked the waiter to surprise us since we had never been there before. be brought us the filet mignon and the special of the day (also steak). We were treated well even though we had just came from christmas shopping all day. I have recomended it to our friends.

mouth watering. We have never been disappointed in J Alexander's. We travel to Columbus often and we never miss eating there. We too eat there on special occasions even if we have to wait a week or two to do so. We consider it one of the best resturants around. It is a three hour drive from our home.
