Bad Combo: Junky and Picky. Nothing here I'd buy -- very worn, unattractive stuff -- which is pretty funny since they rejected all the clothes that I brought in to sell except for one very nice & barely worn piece bought at one of the hippest stores in L.A. For that they wanted to give me $4. Waste of time for me. Maybe you'll have better luck.
A hip thrift store where teens can buy and sell brand-name clothes and shoes..
What You'll Find
Neat and organized racks of men's and women's clothing. Everything is arranged by size, and in some cases even color. Jeans dominate, but they also have T-shirts, sweaters, coats, skirts, shirts and athletic wear.
It's What's Outside That Counts
This place is all about labels. The brand is listed next to the price on each tag. Abercrombie and Fitch gear has its own section. But you'll find more A&E (American Eagle Outfitters) than A&F.
And More
There's a pretty good selection of used sneakers, shoes and purses. The CD and book selection is kind of lame unless you'd be excited to find Naomi Campbell's book.
What You'll Spend
Jeans average $10, and sweaters cost about $7.50. You can find a $150 leather jacket, but most coats are around $30.
