What People Are Saying About Longhorn Steakhouse

In Short – One of the country's most successful steakhouse empires attracts a casual crowd with huge, reasonably priced steak dinners and a tempered Texan milieu (country music and imposing cattle busts). Wise diners turn off their internal calorie counters, as many menu items arrive fried, covered in cheese, or both. A typically rich meal starts with cheese fries, followed by a blue cheese-crusted fillet. Fried cheesecake ends the night on a note of Texas-sized decadence.
crappy managers and an overall crappy company!

Do not support this store! Let it close down just like their Sawmill and Westerville Locations. They deny the locations closing until the LAST MINUTE when they decide to hold a meeting to let their employees know there "options". Take a crappy severance check so we can forget about you or transfer to another location that is already FULLY STAFFED where we don't really need you. If you do take the option of transferring to another location they treat you like a second class citizen and you'll barely get enough hours to pay your bills.
Do not support keeping this restaurant open any longer! They do NOT support their employees so why support them!
Did I mention their managers are JERKS!
- Pros: You get to eat while there staff works for below minimum wage and struggles to pay their bills
- Cons: managers!

I've eaten at longhorns across the united states and found last nights experience the worst of all at 161 and Clevelan Ave.
Joy's filet (7 oz) was very salty and more like a chew toy than a filet. We were at the restaurant 1 hour and watched as the bar had dishes and food sitting on it for the entire hour, not allowing people to sit and drink there because so much was piled. The table behind us was dirty and then the busboy cleaned it with water and coffee filters!!!
Service was poor.
- Pros: side salad
- Cons: filet was salty and chewy, dirty and cluttered tables and bar
Great range of choices, better than Max'nE, Log'ns, Texas, Lone'star, and others.

My rating does not mean that I think this is the "best" steakhouse ever, just that for the price, it just might be. If your looking for a western type, animal heads on the wall dining experience with friendly but not perfectly professional service, this is the place to go. Its casual, and thats what I like when I go out. I had the absolute best steak of the year at Longhorn Steak House. I work in a steakhouse myself and most of Longhorns steaks are comparable to higher end steaks sold for much bigger bucks. The porterhouse I got would easily sell for double at my resturant, and maybe tripple at some the prime steakhouses. I got a great deal i thought and have been craving Longhorn now for months, I really need to go back soon! I have gone back once since then and got the T-bone but was slightly less impressed. Spend the extra dollar or two for the whole porterhouse I recommend! Bread and butter are just that, bread and butter!!! Humm!!! Serice is good, but not always consistend. Thats my take as well as others who have gone. All in all, i'll role the dice to get that porterhouse every time!
