better than your classic burger joint. I'm a simple guy with simple needs. A good burger is one of those needs. I've been to many a burger joints in the area and none compare to the Gahanna Grill experience. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The staff was quick and helpful, the establishment clean and efficient, the food simple and satisfying, just the way I want it. In total the restaurant proved to be a nice enjoyable experience and one that I not only love to visit frequently, but also one that I would recommend to anybody who enjoys good food.

Delicious, Affordable, and Friendly Atmosphere! Loved it!. As a picky eater and someone not easily satisfied, I walked into the Gahanna Grill expecting nothing more than your average food and service. What I got was so much more! The waiters and waitresses have created a clean, casual, and friendly environment perfect for a night out with the family, a quick stop for lunch during work, or even a date. I was impressed at how quickly the food was brought and how diligent the waiters and waitresses were.

Also to my liking, The Gahanna Grill provided a wide variety of food choices, including burgers, wraps, sandwiches, steaks, seafood, pasta and more.

One afternoon I quickly stopping at the Gahanna Grill during my lunch break and ordered a Crispy Chicken Wrap. Not only was it served hot and quickly, but it was also delicious, extremely affordable and reasonably priced. The Gahanna Grill was all around a great restaurant, provided a friendly atmosphere, and affordable prices. This is a restaurant I would definitely recommend to those of you who enjoy quality food, good service, and great pricing!

Best Burger in Columbus!. Friendly, Delicious, and one of a kind are three words I would use to describe the Gahanna Grill. As I walked in to the Gahanna Grill, I was mesmerized by its cleanliness. When I walked into the restaurant, the wait staff spoke to me and made me feel as if I had known them all my life. They were always focused on what they were doing and asked me many times if I needed anything. When the friendly waiter gave me my menu, I was under the impression that the burgers and sandwiches were going to be expensive, but they had very reasonable prices.

Since the Gahanna Grill was famous for the Beanie Burger, I decided to order it. When I had my first bite, my taste buds exploded with happiness, and on top of that, they took my picture while I was eating and posted it on the Beanie Burger Hall Of Fame. I got this enormous, delicious burger for only $7.99. I never thought that I would ever taste a burger with that kind of quality. They have an enormous variety of food at the Gahanna Grill. Aside from the delicious burgers, they have sandwiches, different kinds of wraps, seafood, pasta, ribs, and steaks. Going to the Gahanna Grill was the best experience of my life!

Worth a Trip from Philadelphia!. I read all 8 of the reviews for The Gahanna Grill on City Search’s sight. All of them were 4 or 5 stars, except the last one. There is an almost 3-year gap between the last 5 star review, and the one and only disenchanted customer’s 1 star review. Perhaps the quality of Gahanna Grill’s hamburgers has diminished over the past 3 years. I don’t know, but then I am a seafood person. I do know my guest, a discriminate individual, was always pleased with any of the variety of burgers she had.

My first visit to Gahanna Grill was in November (Thanksgiving Week) 2007. I had reconnected with a dear friend who now lives in Gahanna, and she recommended we have lunch there. Cathy had the Bacon Cheeseburger with Onion Rings, and I ordered the Fish Sandwich, and as Cathy did, I also substituted Onion Rings for the French Fries. My Fish Sandwich arrived as described on the menu, “A huge haddock fillet with tartar sauce on the side”.

My friend Cathy and I both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The haddock filet was as they said it would be, almost the size of the boat it was caught from; we’re talking a mini aircraft carrier. It was nicely battered, perfectly fried, and was hot, and extremely tasty; I had absolutely nothing to complain about! Cathy was quite pleased with her meal also.

I’ve revisited Gahanna Grill 6 times, since my initial visit (December 2007, March 2008, June 2008, September 2008, December 2008 and September 2009). Each time I ordered the Fish Sandwich, and Cathy ordered one of the many varieties of burgers, including Gahanna Grill’s famous “Beanie Burger”. Every Fish Sandwich I ordered was identical in size and quality of the first one I had. Cathy also enjoyed all of her meals.

In short, whether we dined inside, or out on the patio, the setting was warm, comfortable and cozy. Every meal was excellent! They were served quickly, and hot, by always pleasant, attentive, and willing to please wait staff!

I eat out often, and if a Gahanna Grill opened up its doors near my neighborhood, a Philadelphia suburb, I’m sure I’d be a regular customer. Lastly, their pricing is so low that I wonder how they can be making any profit!

is this a joke or something?. I was under the impression this place had good burgers. I ordered the "mushroom swiss burger" The description boasted sauteed shrooms, swiss cheese and a 1/3 pound burger cooked to order. This is what I got:

1) A huge bulkie roll, ice cold right out of the bag

2) A slab of burger, no where near 1/3 of a pound, cooked beyond well done, dry and breaking apart, yet oddly it was only warm in temperature, which leads me to believe it was reheated.

3) The slab of meat was topped with cold canned mushrooms i.e. the "cook" placed mushrooms directly from the can on top of my burger.

4) The "Swiss" was actually two pieces of white American cheese which never came close to melting.

5) To accompany my onion rings, which in all fairness were really good, I squeezed out some ketchup from the red plastic bottle on the table. The ketchup was spoiled, i would estimate it to be between 80 and 100 proof. Upon looking around at the bottles on the other tables, I noticed they were all caked with old, dried ketchup.

To "top it all off" my burger was crowned wit the "piece de la resistance": A dark hair!!!

I can look past the hair because I work in a restaurant and it happens, BUT I cannot believe there is someone who would put out a piece of garbage like this. Whoever plated this poor excuse for pig slop does not have one ounce of passion for cooking. As I left, I noticed the place was boasting about being included in a book about the "Best Burgers in the Country!!!" My only question is, how much did it cost to get in that book? It must have cost enough that they had to make up for it by serving dung for food. If you think these are great burgers, you need to have your head examined, or at least try getting out of Ohio once and a while.
