Love it!!. For the amount of food you get the prices are great. My fiance works at Spagio and they have the same prices but you get half the food then you do here at trattoria-roma. Their Salmon is to DIE For!! Their Tiramisù is the best I have ever had including Tiramisù from Italy. If you are looking for some good Italian food this is the place to go! Its just like being back in Italy, I have never had any problems with the service I think people are just too picky. People don't want to be bothered 100 times while they are eating and they don't do that here. Don't be afraid to ask for your server. They don't want to keep coming up and disturbing your conversation or your meals.

Absolutely dreadful experience. My experience here was an absolute nightmare. The waitress was polite and pleasant. Everything else was awful. Food was mediocre and terribly overpriced. Which I could get over, considering I had a gift certificate. Unfortunately, they refused to honor the gift certificate citing some ridiculous terms that were nowhere to be found on the certificate. When I pointed this out the idiot manager's only response was "well most of them say it on there". Terrible experience all around--this place is nowhere near good enough to overcome such pathetic customer service.

Very Poor Experience. Just tried Trattoria Roma yesterday (4/13/10) and although the waiter was good, the food was just OK and they did not honor a gift certificate like it said they would on the internet. Overall, as a frequent Italian restaurant diner, I have had better food elsewhere in Columbus and would not recommend Trattoria Roma.

Decent but overpriced. The calamari appetizer seemed like it was heated up out of a store-bought frozen bag, and the red sauce was nothing special (tomatoes seemed to be canned).

However, the mushroom, spinach and cream sauce was excellent. I would definitely get that the next time. The veal is also tender and very good.

Portion sizes were good. I could not finish the Osso Bucco.

The food was decent overall. However, since not enough seemed to be made from scratch, I found the menu to be overpriced.

Great restaurant to bring a date. My girlfriend and I just celebrated our one year anniversary and I wanted to take her somewhere romantic. This is the place. The service was outstanding and the food was just as good. I had the Pollo Devolo (pardon my atrocious spelling and I cant quite remember the name) and my girlfriend ordered the smoked salmon ravioli which was out of this world. They even put two little candles on our desert (if you like chocolate, the Pots de Creme is heavenly). They offer a great wine list and the servers are very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. One of my favorite romantic restaurants in Columbus so far!

excellent date spot. This is a great restaraunt to bring a date, it's romantic and has great atmosphere. The food is very good and I enjoy the relaxed feel. The last time I ate there it was my girlfriends 21st birthday and when we were ordering wine the waiter was nice and wished her happy birthday. After dinner they brought out 2 butterscotch shots, one with a strawberry and a candle on it. All without us asking for this! Excellent service, I would recommend going!

Great place for a date!. We just got back from dinner and had to give the experience 2 thumbs up! The outdoor atmosphere was very romantic with charming music in the background. Our service (by Jon) was superb. He was very knowledgable of the menu and helpful in giving reccomendations. We loved the crab cakes! Ask for Jon!

Great atmosphere, great food, great service. We live fairly close to the restaurant and go as often as we can. I've recommended this restaurant to many friends who have all been equally impressed. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu (although there are certain dishes I can't get away from because they're so delicious). The staff is always so friendly, and we leave full and happy! In the summer, the patio is a wonderful place to dine. It's located right on Grandview Ave., which is a great place to people watch. After dinner you can take a stroll down the avenue and go see a movie at the Drexel!

Not Impressed. I recently ate at this restaurant. My party and I had several questions about the menu and our server seemed kind of clueless about the answers. I ordered the wedding soup which came out with bits of fat floating on it, I tasted it and realized it was ice cold. So I sent it back and it came out piping hot. My main meal was the lasagna. It was excellent. My friends also like their meals but we thought it was overpriced. I think the lasagna at Villa Nova is just as good and 1/4 of the price. Our waitress came out with a stack of the covers for the bills. Then she stood there with a long strip of bills and tore them apart in front of us and put them in the covers. I just thought it was kind of tacky, like something they would do at Applebee's.
