The Scene – This truly romantic spot has a white tablecloth dining room with cozy deep red and walnut walls, as well as an intimate sidewalk patio. A small bar area adds a little retro flair with its framed pictures of Rat Pack albums; the music of its members, like Dean Martin, is piped in throughout the restaurant. – – The Food – Start with the Mozerella alla Caprese, especially in summer months, when Ohio tomatoes and basil leaves are at their sweetest. The house salad is serviceable, but save room for entrees like the amazing Rotolo di Pasta, which delicately…

Day or Night - Trattoria is Amazing

by SmallBizWhiz at Citysearch

I've been to Trattoria a number of times for lunch and dinner. I don't take the time to write reviews often, but after tonight I couldn't resist. Everything about Trattoria is top notch. The staff is great, the food is phenomenal and the quiet, small atmosphere is perfect. In the 4+ years I have eaten there, I have yet to not see the owner Shawn hard at work. I highly recommend just about anything on the menu!

Also, be sure you check for available coupons on www.restaurant dot com! We got a $25 certificate for $12.50.

Decent but overpriced

by Mangiare1981 at Citysearch

The calamari appetizer seemed like it was heated up out of a store-bought frozen bag, and the red sauce was nothing special (tomatoes seemed to be canned).

However, the mushroom, spinach and cream sauce was excellent. I would definitely get that the next time. The veal is also tender and very good.

Portion sizes were good. I could not finish the Osso Bucco.

The food was decent overall. However, since not enough seemed to be made from scratch, I found the menu to be overpriced.

Great restaurant to bring a date

by jones2427 at Citysearch

My girlfriend and I just celebrated our one year anniversary and I wanted to take her somewhere romantic. This is the place. The service was outstanding and the food was just as good. I had the Pollo Devolo (pardon my atrocious spelling and I cant quite remember the name) and my girlfriend ordered the smoked salmon ravioli which was out of this world. They even put two little candles on our desert (if you like chocolate, the Pots de Creme is heavenly). They offer a great wine list and the servers are very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. One of my favorite romantic restaurants in Columbus so far!
