Roach Motel at it's worst. I didn't expect the best room in the hotel because we were travelling with our dog, but I didn't expect the armpit room either. We were given a smoking room that smelled horribly, within 5 minutes, my feet were black. I left for a visit with friends and came back to sleep.

As I was falling asleep, I felt an itch (or so I thought) on my face. When I rubbed my face a bug went squish. I had blood on my cheek and both hands. The bug that went squish was a blood sucker and I washed my face and hands and went to the office. They were uncooperative.

I drove 2 hours to my in-laws house and slept in the driveway until they woke up... It was better than sleeping in a buggy, nasty hotel with barely functioning A/C. The room occupied by my father-in-law and brother-in-law was just as bad.
