Old fashioned goodness... just like it was 30+ years ago. Joseppi's has the best dough, sauce and italian sausaage in town! The sausage is the old fashioned homemade type that is sliced rather than the cheap crumbled topping others use. The sauces and toppings are not over-spiced or too hot like others are becoming. Joseppi's is the only pizza that doesnt give me heartburn from all the hot mexican-inspired spices that Donato's and all the others are switching over to these days. Keep on giving us the best tasting pizza in the city!

Pretty good. Joseppi's is pretty good as far as west-side pizzas go . . . the crust is good, the sauce has good flavor, though nothing spectacular about the toppings. Joseppi's is a west-side staple, yet I'm afraid that if you didn't grow up on their food you might think it's terribly boring and very average. The restaurant just hasn't been the same since they moved from their original location in Lincoln Village, where the ambiance was very 80s and it had a neighborhood pizza parlor feel to it. Going to a pizza place adjoined to the public library and a dentist office just isn't the same. When returning to Columbus in the future, I would definitely order a Joseppi's pizza, although it may be more out of nostalgia than the fact that their pizza is so fantastic.
