Horrible Customer Service at the Whitehall Location.
To the manager:
On 6/25/07 at 10:12 p.m., I called and the person answered the phone with an abrupt tone: "Tommy's go aheand with your order". I then I proceeded with my order, I asked for 2 large pepperoni and 2 large pepperoni & sausge pizzas. Then I said, "sir, pretty please, would you make all 4 with soft crusts?" He said, "if I do that I will not be able to make the pep & sausage." I said, "Really? I am confused, I order this same order at least twice a week and my order has always been filled with no problem." Then the employee said, "oh well". I then asked for his name, and he mumbled something under his breath then asked me why I asked for his name. I said, "why are you being so negative?" and he replied, "whatever". I was totally flaburgasted at his rudeness, unprofessionalism, and lack of customer service. Furthermore, I was afraid to place my order for fear that he would do something to my food. I just told him, "sir, please cancel my order, I am apald at your poor customer service." I just want you to know that I have patronized your company for over 20 years. I am less than 10 minutes away from Minuteman Pizza, Donatoes, Pizza Hut, Angies, Cee Cee's, and many more, but I pass them all to go to Tommy's, which is totally out of my way. Your employee was insulting and just down right mean. Please be advised that you have lost a customer and with it 10 others, because that is how many people I will share my negative experience with. Great pizza.
Tommy's is the best pizza anywhere. I have been to both Lane Ave locations, Broad St, 161 and Hamilton Rd. I think Hamilton Rd. has the best flavor, but that is what I was brought up on. I used to deliver pizzas for another pizza company and would stop to get a Tommy's pizza for myself.
