DONT GO NEAR THIS PLACE. Al the manager has lost another gardner with his poor attitude..unwilling to take care of customer issues.....its a wonder they are still able to stay in buisness

Great Service. I have always enjoyed the wide selection and great service at Strader's and my experience today was consistant with those experiences. It was raining and I needed help purchasing 8 evergreen shrubs and Aaron helped me select them and get them into my vehicle. He was very pleasant and helpful at every step. It's always nice to get a great sale price and it's even nicer to get great service.

Poor service. Called to ask if they carried a certain type of flower. First phone call, woman sternly says she can't hear me. I hang up, call back, same person answers phone in rude, annoyed manner. I ask if they carried certain type of flower, response was " Don't know, hold on" then immediately puts me on hold.

This is one of my favorite nurseries to visit. Good prices and selection. Hopefully this one person doesn't come to work w/such a bad attitude every day. There are too many choices nowadays.

Wonderful service; healthy, high quality plants; great variety.. The King Avenue store is a favorite place to shop for plants and accessories. Andrea is the greatest...very well versed and helpful. I've shopped there for years.

This family-owned chain of local centers opened its first store in Grandview over 30 years ago, but has since expanded due to its personal service and wide, healthy selection. There are now four locations in the city and each one has a similar inventory, but a slightly different character.

The Goods
Strader's offers everything that the big chains do, from fertilizers to garden tools to pond supplies to lawn mowers. Its central location on Riverside Drive is the largest of Straders locations, with a large greenhouse and a 20-acre nursery that house a vast selection of annuals, perennials and trees.
