Consistantly Great.
My husband and I eat at this Outback all of the time and always have a great experience. The food is always prepared to perfection and service is consistanly exceptional.
Tonight we were there again. We had to wait longer than usual but it was worth it. Our server was friendly and very helpful. Our food came out in a reasonible time but we never felt rushed. I would reccommend this Outback to anyone.
Worst outback in town.
First, food quality goes out the window if they cannot get the order right.
This is the most recent experience. I have had many bad experiences. The only reason I have returned was that I was given free meals. Therefore, I will post every bad experience on here. But I only have time to write one.
This past Monday, my girlfriend, my friend, and I went to the Outback on Bethel Rd because I had a free $45 gift certificate because past experiences have been bad. Here is what went wrong.
The plates were dirty and had crusted food on them.
They did not get my salad order correct. I asked for easy on the dressing and it was caked in dressing.
My friend and I's steaks were cooked very unevenly.
This is the funny part. My girlfriend ordered her steak medium which should be pink throughout. It was well done. There was no a shred of pink in the steak. Then it took them 20 min to remake it. They never brought out the remade steak. Why? Because it too was WELL DONE! The third streak was boxed up because at this point we all had been done eating for a long while.
All was made right we went to the little bar and watched football. :)
Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor..
In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.
Great food, bad waitress.. A friend and I went to the Outback a week ago. Neither of us had ever been to the Outback. The food was amazing. The portions were huge! The complimetary bread was delicious and theur potato soap was great. Our waitress, however, had a dry personality. When she brought me the wrong order I asked her to fix it and she basically called me a liar. She told me, "No, you said double shrimp. I wrote it down and everything". From then on she was twice as unfriendly and acted VERY impatient with us. From where we sat, all the waitresses could stand and stare while we ate and they placed orders. My friend watched our waitress roll her eyes and point us out to the others. It made us very uncomfortable. By the time she brought us our bill, we were afraid to ask her to separate it.
YUCK!. Years ago I used to love outback. Over the past 5 years, however, it has went down hill drastically. My steaks are never cooked right and often very bland.
Just Plain Horrible.
These guys couldn't properly cook a good steak on a bet. I highly recommend having drinks and a "bloom'in onion" and then head on down the road to a real steakhouse for dinner. Better yet, don't even stop in there.
The steaks are always cooked way to rare for what is ordered. If you send the steak back, they do not give you new fries or potato so the same, now very cold stuff, comes back to the table.
Yum.. I went to Outback Steakhouse with my date for prom. I was promptly seated, and we ordered two steak dinners right away. The steaks were made exactly the way we wanted them. I ordered mine well done, and it was still tender and juicy, just the way I like it. The service was great, and the employees were very friendly. I would recommend eating at Outback Steakhouse to anyone.
over rated. outback should have stayed there.the food was no good the sercice is ok but in all over rated .
Best Steak my eye!. Over priced commercial chain restaurant with mediocre food and the normal High schooler for wait staff. The Outback Steakhouse does not belong on the list of "Best Steakhouses". If you crave a steak that is small, fatty, and lacking in overall taste, let alone presentation, go to the Outback. Go for the Draft beer and appitzers but NOT for a good steak! As a side note, raise your hand if you hate those darn radio commercials of theirs!
always great. the steaks have seasonings on them that are wonderful...you don't have to drown them in sauces to make them taste good. the price is right and my daughter loves the kids menu. her two favorites are the maccaroni and cheese and the chicken fingers. great food for everyone. my husband was dissapointed that the sweet potato is considered a regional food and is not available in wisconsin.
