History
In 1920 a French woman named Mary Love (Mary Amour--get it?) opened a five-star restaurant in Columbus at 137 E. Broad Street which was well known for its excellent food and chocolates. Lots of famous people went there to eat.
Today
The restaurant is closed, but Maramor is still downtown, with a retail shop on the bustling corner of State and High streets.
Custom Orders
They supply chocolates to grocers, coffee houses, cruise lines and hotels worldwide. They even make chocolate hockey pucks for the Blue Jackets. The shop will design chocolates with corporate logos, and is popular for fundraisers.
