Food Ok, Slow service. My wife and I stopped here for a quick meal before we settled into our hotel. The decor was nice, I kinda liked the WWI french setting.

We had Caesar Salad and soup. The salad was just ok, but the Beer Cheese Soup was pretty good.

Service was a bit slow as our waiter was nice enough, but maybe needed his Prozac dose increased. Hopefully they are not always this slow. Maybe we might try it again.

Disappointing Thanksgiving. Decided not to cook this year for Thanksgiving but to try something different in Columbus that we have never tried. Had heard of this restaurant for years and thought our kids (13 & 10) would like the view of the airport. The setting was okay, however, the strong stench of urine imbedded in the fabric of all the chairs and sofas in the waiting area was enough to make me turn around and walk out; however being in the health care profession this is part of my daily worklife and you just get used to it - also gave them the benefit of the doubt that the smell certainly couldn't follow us to the dining area. It did get better once seated, but the ambiance is that of an MCL cafeteria - vinyl tablecloths and typical clientele of that age group as well. The advertised Thanksgiving day crablegs were not part of the buffet and seeing kitchen staff walk around the buffet area in their aprons sipping drinks and watching patrons made me wonder how on earth this place got the green sticker from the health dept inspector. Disappointing to say the least and will not return. Too many other great spots in Columbus to spend $100.

cool concept. My wife and I went there and had dinner. Hadn't been there for some years and were eager to go back and check this place out. Not a bad experience but not great. Food was ok but nothing we couldn't get elsewhere. Our waiter was an attractive young man who was very pleasant and helpful.

If someone would put some energy and money into this place it could be something again.

Uninspiring At Best. Went there Father's Day 2009 - timely seated, pleasant staff. Roast Beef dry, Salmon dry, Perch tough. Ribs okay. Several salad selections and many breakfast choices. For the price I was expecting better quality / selections. Staff was acceptable, parking lot / exterior could use a lot of sprucing up. Desert selection unimaginative - lots of cookies, two cakes, three pies........ visited once and won't go again. Not worth the price.

Cool Setting - Food and Service... not so much. So I went here once with a friend and thought it was pretty good. Then took my kids there another time and the food was mediocre at best. Thinking maybe they just had a bad night, came back a third time with the wife and kids--same thing.

You go in with high expectations. The setting is super cool. Then you look at the menu and thing --this is going to be good.... unfortunately it's just NOT the case.

Save your money...

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. American cuisine is served in generous portions featuring steaks, seafood and pasta dishes at the casual restaurant.

Not bad, but.... We were a little bit disappointed. I was surprised how limited the menu was. We both had steak, and thought it was a little pricey for what we got. Mine was quite chewy, and I ended up leaving the last third. The sides were good though - fresh and hot. The restaurant itself is very nice - lots of exposed beams, and old-fasioned knick-knacks everywhere. The big band music cd being played added to the atmosphere. We arrived just as it was opening for dinner, and were seated immediately. Ten mins later, another couple arrived, and were seated right behind us, even though the restaurant was completely empty! We thought that was a bit annoying. I would go back for drinks (their Long Island Iced Tea was spot on!) but I wouldn't want to eat.

Rapidly improving. The 94th has seen great improvement over the last few years. Service and food are wonderful. The staff seems to have stepped in up a notch. Rumor has it the best is yet to come. If you haven't been there for a while, check it out. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Those of us who are regulars consider it Columbus' best kept secret.
