The Scene – Conceived by artist James T. Mason, this park re-creates Georges Seurat's "Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" painting using sculpted evergreen shrubbery. – – The Experience – The scope of the project is impressive: 50 topiary humans, eight boats, three dogs, a cat, a monkey, a real pond and trees. While it's a stretch to envision the pond as the Seine, figures as tall as 12 feet stimulate the imagination. Early morning for quiet enjoyment

Very cool. I brought my Junior girl scout troop here before we went to COSI and they had fun walking around the park looking at everything. Pretty safe even early in the morning. A few people were still sleeping in the area when we arrived but we had no problem and it was worth it to let the kids see it.
