Editorial Review for Senior Repertory of Ohio – by Suzanne Patzer
The Golden Years
The grandparents involved in Senior Repertory of Ohio are a troupe of talented and energetic senior citizens using theater to celebrate life experiences. Many of the plays performed by Senior Repertory address issues of age and challenge the stereotypical images of seniors. The mission of the troupe is to provide an outlet for senior artists and to educate the community that seniors can be productive, wise andmost of allentertaining.
Impressive Resume
With grants and the help of WOSU-TV, the troupe won an Emmy for its play, "I Was Young, Now I'm Wonderful." Equally impressive, Senior Repertory represented the U.S. at the first International Senior Theatre Festival in Cologne, Germany, in 1991.
