Floor-to-ceiling windows and Italian leather sofas make this the "sophisticated" (read "extra pricey") place to stay. For special occasions, vacation packages provide the ultimate in pampering, including Swedish massages, horse-drawn carriage rides, Godiva chocolates and champagne. A personal butler will arrange a European breakfast delivered to your room each morning. Work feels better in an Executive chair at the large work desk. My fiance and I stayed at the Lofts for Valentines day and ran into a miriad of problems with the 5th Ave romance package I had purchased as a surprise. The hotel staff failed to execute many of the "extras" I had paid for. However, the breakfast room service was great as were the in room massages. I called and talked to the manager later and she was very quick to offer remedy to our bad expereince. We'll see the 2nd time around....

Pros: amazing rooms, in room massages, bathrobes

Cons: over priced rooms, room service, lots of families

Great Room, Thin Walls

My husband and I really liked our room, the high ceilings and modern furnishings were cool. Also, there was plenty of window light and the Aveda toiletries were a nice touch. But like many reviews of this hotel that I have read, the walls are very thin. Sitting here, in the room now - I can hear the TV in the room next door, and it is obvious that they do not have the volume up very high.
