The wildest, most creative treats are here, right off High Street.. The Scene
The fact that Curio is in a basement and off High Street steals from the Short North pretension factor. Upon descending the stairs, the smell of roasting Trapp Private Gardens orange and vanilla candles is thick-almost unbearably so.



The Goods
The wares here are funky. Fake fur postcards will delight any holiday-stressed postal worker, and who would have known old license plates could make such fierce handbags? The oh-so-hip Curio staff will happily slice off a slab of flowery or fruity soap for you. Watch out for the Demeter eau de toilettes--their hilarious scents like Tomato Leaf, Dirt and Cucumber smell wonderful but don't last long. "Virgin/Slut" soaps, lip balms and washcloths make nice gifts for your friends. Have a girly sleepover with The Beauty Parlor Night Kit, a silver paint bucket filled with masks, lotions and manicure stuff.

Mmmmm....smells good. Try the bar soap, favorite scents lemon jello and mulberry. Also love the orchid bar, unsure of the name, smells like it has sandalwood in it.
