Axis Nightclub

Visited Columbus Ohio for a weekend.. While i was in Ohio for a weekend, we went to Axis night club. This club is in a very old building and in the winter months DONT go upstairs the roof is drafty. The "welcome to axis" staff is terrible. when i say that i mean that they are complete and utter dou*he bags that could care less about you. If you are under 21 they give you black "X" on both hands along with fluorescent wrist bands. if any of it is missing or they suspect you have been drinking they turn your ID into the police. The first night that i went it took them half an hour to give me my ID back because they were just sitting there talking about their own stuff. TOTAL TURN OFF! The crowd in this club is very diverse, and when i say that i mean it in both very good ways and very bad ways. Good ways are very diverse people, gay, straight, lesbian, and everything in between. When I say bad i mean drug users, and addicts who do drugs in the bathrooms and what not! Every other club i have EVER been to there is security everywhere making sure that none of that stuff goes on, but not this club. I would NOT recommend this club to even my enemies.…

AXIS BARTENDERS ARE THIEVES. My friends were all drinking mixed drinks and they were $6 each. Not only is that ridiculous for the kind of club it is (get real - it's a SHITHOLE), the drinks were ALL ICE. I was the DD and had a few Red Bulls that should have totalled $12; the next day, I checked my online banking and they charged $30 to my debit! Also, they're only open on Fridays and Saturdays, so there's nothing I can do about it for a WEEK. While the entertainment is amazing, the employees are thieves, plain and simple. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.…

Dangerous Place. I was attacked by gay bashers in front of the Axis Night Club exit. I was simply exiting the club when I was struck in the face repeatedly... a man stepped in to defend me and was knocked to the ground and hit repeatedly as well... I was then chased across the parking lot where two kind men stood by me while we waited for the police to arrive. None of the axis bouncers/workers/witnesses stayed to speak with the police about the gay bashing that had occurred at their establishment. I now have a bruised swollen cheek; a black eye and god knows what kind of psychological damage. Axis should face major repercussions for neglecting to protect its clientele. I am shocked and infuriated, disgusted and appalled. If I could give it negative stars I would!!!…

Best Dance Music In Town. Being of the straight orientation, I can honestly say that this club is more fun than any other club I've been to. I have to say that the people at the entrance are a bit snotty but I can deal with that to go have fun on the dance floor. If you haven't been to the club yet, make sure to watch out for the showers in the center of the room. I didn't know what they were and got a rather,um, interesting surprise. Anyways, I recommend this club to anyone who like loud, fast music and bright lights, guys without shirts, and a fun atmosphere.…
