Mediterranean for Trailer Trash. I have been putting off writing a review of this establishment. A few weeks ago, I stopped by the Firdous Express and purchased a "shawirma" combo and a veggie combo. I should have bought lighter fluid and burnt the money in the parking lot. The seaonings were very poor, the flavors were terrible, the portion sizes were small, and the staff were perhaps the rudest jerks I've ever met in Columbus. I would never consider going back to this place, nor would I recommend it to anyone else. Over the years, I had heard some positive comments about Firdous, but obviously people don't know good Mediterranean. This place is a zero in my book!

Excellence at its best!. I am a student studying at OSU. I always remembered how good the food was at the high st. location when i used to go with my parents so i thought i'd give the new loaction a try. It turned out to be even better! I ordered hummus and chicken kabab along with some pistachio baklava fot under 10 dollars! And this was for dinner! The food turned out to be wonderful, the chicken was tender and full of flavor and the hummus had the perfect amount of seasoning. But the baklava was the best of all, full of honey and chopped pistachios! i know that i will be back for many more meals!
