Not One Good Thing.
While waiting for our reserved table (30 minutes), we waited 10 minutes for the bartender to sort us out of the 8 whole people that were at the bar, and ask us if we wanted a drink. Once seated, we waited 20 minutes for anyone to realize that it was 9pm and we might want to order something.
The "roasted" beets, tasted like they came out of a can from Aldi's. My fish dish was raw - and I'm not talking sushi grade, I'm talking Walleye. You do not want that raw. I sent it back, and I was offered - a SALAD. Are you kidding me? My companion's pork was a lovely pork cutlet that was breaded - looked/tasted like it came out of the frozen food box. We never received bread, although it was promised several times.
I honestly do not know why anyone goes here. There was no redeeming factor. This is the worst meal I have had out in a few years. Very disappointing.
Enjoyed my experience.. I went here back in February and it was nice. The restaurant was quite loud (it was a Saturday night, though) but the service was nice. I went with several of my friends and the staff was nice to accomidate the 2 extras we added at last minute, and our fifteen minute late arrival (oops!) Our waitress was nice, which we weren't expecting, seeing as we were all 14-17 years of age. The food was delicious and came out in a reasonable time. The only downsides I would say are the volume of the place (loud) and parking was kind of difficult.
Other than that, food is good..... Nice place, excellent food, service also good...Don't know why, but acoustics are terrible, and if you go when it's a peak time, be prepared to yell across the table..Have not figured out why some Columbus restaurants are over the top in the loudness department....Not the place for an intimate quiet dining experience. I prefer to converse with my mate thru talking, not sign language...Oh, and wear something nice, and then that way you will be able to fit in with the 20-something sex-in-the-city wannabes.......
A veteran fine dining spot that keeps its atmosphere and menu fresh..
The Scene
Dress up for Rigsby's or you'll feel out of place. The décor is classy and clever, gallery-like and very chic by Columbus standards. Have your before-dinner martini at the cocktail bar. Live piano and jazz are performed in the dining room Wednesday through Friday.
The Food
Those who try the classic bouillabaisse will quickly realize why the chef's talents are world class; it's loaded with lobster and shellfish swimming in a rich broth laced with sweet Pernod. Though the menu changes regularly, favorite items such as this and the penne arrabiata are staples. Gnocchi is another standout, with sauces that change seasonally; in summertime, it's a golden tomato coulis with licorice basil pesto. Save room for the famous vacherin glace, a mound of tender meringue stuffed with layers of ice cream and doused with fresh raspberry sauce.

Best Food In Town. Rigsby's has been a leader in the fine dining world for years now and it keeps on getting better. Kent Rigsby knows what it takes to produce a great dish. I have never had a bad meal there.
