The Scene
You will stop mumbling that you live in a cow town upon entering the lavish Plaza Restaurant. Located on the second floor of the Hyatt on Capitol Square (right next to City
Center), this place is decorated with a slight Asian flair. The servers call everyone "sir" and "ma'am" with the utmost in kindness and the food is upscale, but the best part is the view of the regal Ohio Statehouse.
The Food
The menu is eclectic, with international flair. Appetizers are tasty, from classic shrimp cocktail to smoked salmon timbales, but not too filling. Steaks, seafood and pasta fill the well-rounded menu; the juicy filet mignon and shrimp arrabiata are standouts. Presentation is extremely important for all the dishes, but sometimes ends up eclipsing the taste. Stick with the standards for a more pleasurable meal.…
