Columbus >Japanese Steak House
Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Locals flock for large portions of Japanese cuisine at the restaurant that offers low tables and entertaining chefs.
Great Place to Eat. THe Japanese Steak House has a very friendly atmosphere. The cooks are very entertaining with all the fun tricks they do with the food. The man that comes around to the tables with the musical instruments, whick you get to play, while he sings is very fun. The food tastes great. We drive an hour and a half just to come here and eat. I can't say enough about the Japanese Staek House.
Big hit with family.. I love going to The Japanese Steak House. I love the food. I think it is wonderful, and I could eat there everyday. The salad dressing is the best. The Dispatch had the recipe in it a few years ago and I missed it. Anyone happen to get a copy of it? I would love to have it. I take all of my out of town company to eat there and everyone loves it, even the kids. Great job!!!
Seriously, this resturant is banking on the fact that everyone at this resturant has never been any other Hibachi style resturant.
Pretty much, nothing was "new", but even worse, it wasn't even close to being as entertaining to any of the other similar type resturants.
The food was nothing special tasting, but you do get enough to hold you and the next day.
The only thing that pulled the evening together was the owner singing Happy Birthday to the customers, that was funny =)
The service was good, but then again, none seem very knowledgeable about the food.
Not a good place for a first date, (Coming from first hand experience)
Fun service and food!. The Japanese Steakhouse is simply amazing, with creative cooks who prepare your meals in front of you. They do tricks such as pretending to throw the food at you, and flipping the food high in the air. The birthday celebration is not to be missed!
