All that and crinkle-cut fries too!. A place you'll wish you could keep as your own little secret. Set far enough off High St. that you'd not see it unless you were looking, Jack's is serving up seriously great diner fare. Burgers are thin, but well dressed and satisfying, fries are cooked to order (not sitting around), and milkshakes have three ingredients (2 big scoops icecream, topping and milk - thick and delicious). If you're out with friends downtown at night, forget about it, though: we're talking breakfast-lunch down-town workers only. Their biggest booths fit four people (if you're small), they don't take plastic (or serve on it) and they're only open 'til 3:00 p.m. Mon.-Fri., so plan accordingly. If you want to sit at a diner counter for lunch, have a great burger, fries and milkshake on the cheap and feel like you've gone back in time, this is your place. Enthusiastically recommended.

Great diner - best burgers in town.. Great hole-in-the-wall diner in the heart of the city. Cool decor, the music is pretty good. This is where you go to eat. If you want to be seen, or eat a trendy fu-fu lunch, this is not the place for you. I highly recommend the burger. I agree that they have ther best slaw and milkshakes too.

Best Burgers & Cheap too.. I've been to many greasy spoons and diners around the city and around the country. Every time I try a burger, I compare it to Jack's. Jack's is by far the best there is. If you haven't tried it, you're missing something big. Try the best milkshakes and best cole slaw while you're there.

Great Burgers, Fries, Shakes - Everything!. Awesome lunch spot for busy downtowners. In and out in a jiff and you get plenty of change from a ten. Greasy and delicious. Cooked to order and tastes better than any mc anything.

Best Burger. Neat place. Lots of noise during lunch. It's elbow to elbow weekdays at lunchtime. Burgers are big on taste but they're on the small side - I always get the double.

Best Burger. This is the real deal. Thin but tasty. Throw back diner-style hamburger.
